Brief Introduction

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is located on the southern shore of Qiantang River in Xiaoshan District, about 27 kilometers east of downtown Hangzhou.
The airport is the 10th airport in China, the third airport in the east China. Xiaoshan airport serves for flights throughout China and International flights in east and southeast Asia, points of Africa, Europe and south Asia. In 2015, Xiaoshan International Airport served a total of 28,354,435 passengers.

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport was first built in 1997 and opened in 2000. It replaced the old Hangzhou Jianqiao Airport. In 2004, the airport was approved as international airport. The second phases was completed in 2012 including an International Terminal, a second Domestic Terminal, and a new runway. The new runway is 3,400 metres long and 60 metres wide, capable of handling the Airbus A380.


Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has three Terminals, covering total area of 37 million square metres. The Terminal 2 servers all international flights, including flights to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. This terminal has 8 air bridge gates, with one gate capable of handling the Airbus A380. The Terminal 1 and 3 serves domestic flights.


Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has 68 scheduled domestic flight routes, and 29 international flight routes.
