Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Entry Shanghai, Shanghai Museum, Renmin Square, a local art zone, The Bund.
Arrive in Shanghai. Be met by English speaking tour guide and driver from Beijingservice.com.
Then you will be transferred to hotel.
After a short rest in hotel, drive to visit Shanghai Museum.
Shanghai Museum, known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, was established in 1952. You will find more than 120,000 precious and rare works of art in 21 categories. In addition to the 11 galleries, the museum includes three exhibition halls, a tearoom, a restaurant, shops, a high-definition graphics hall, a library and a VIP garden.
Then visit Renmin Square. Renmin Square is a large public square adjacent to Nanjing Road in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, where the the place of new Municipal Government Mansion lies in. A blue and white dovecot can be seen in the southwest side of the square. Renmin Square is also the city's important transportation hubs.
Visit an a local art zone. This Art Zone was once the Chunming Slub Mill. More than 50 industrial buildings built in the various historical periods from the 1930s to the 1990s are presered in this area. Now it is changed a morden creative art zone. There are over 120 galleries and art studios. M50 Art Zone is a ideal places to see free art in Shanghai City.
Move on to visit The Bund. The Bund is one of the most representative scenic spot in Shanghai. Day 2. Yu Garden, local art zone, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, departure.
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to visit Yu Garden.
Located in the southern part of Shanghai, Yu Garden is a well-restored Suzhou-style garden. It is one of the best gardens in southern China. With pavilions, halls, chambers, towers, ponds and rockeries, it presents more than 40 scenic spots. No wonder people say "Those who have come to Shanghai missing Yu Garden and the City God Temple Bazaar can not claim that they have been to the city."
Visit a local art zone. It is one of the earlist Creative Industrial Zone in Shanghai. Many Creative design companies assemble here. It is a good place to view art galleries for free. Exbitions on different topics are oftern held in the Art Zone.
Move on to visit Pudong New Area.
Bounded by the Huangpu River in the west and the East China Sea in the east, Pudong New District arose from China's policy of 'Opening Up' and economic development. Covering an area of 570,000m2, Pudong New District is now considered a modern new urban district and Shanghai's modernization and prestige as center of world commerce.
Then visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the world's third tall TV and radio tower with 468 meters high in total. It is made up of 11 balls and provides 3 major sightseeing floors for a bird's eye view of the city in different height. The tower could be seen from the Bund. The three-dimensional lighting will shimmers with brilliant color every night.
Be transferred to airport for departure. (Breakfast, Lunch)
