Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival, Shannxi History Museum, Bell and Drum Tower Square.
Be met from Xian Xianyang International Airport.

Drive to visit Shannxi History Museum. Shannxi History Museum is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China, featuring an architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. It is the best cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and shows the systematic development process of Chinese civilization. The museum houses over 300,000 items including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects.

Then visit Bell and Drum Tower Square is the square between Bell Tower and Drum Tower. It is very beautiful when all lit up at night. Many local people gather here, dancing and singing. The Bell Tower in the east and Drum Tower in the west looks magnificent in the lights.

Be transferred back to hotel.

Day 2. Mountain Hua.
Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.

Drive to visit visit Mountain Hua. Mountain Hua is one of the five best-known mountains in China. It is famous for its breath-taking cliffs. Along the 12-kilometer-long winding path up to the top are awe-inspiring precipices, looking into which will take your breath away. Mountain Hua boasts a lot of places of interest. Here and there stand Buddhist and Taoist temples, pavilions and buildings as well as sculptures and engravings. Along the cliff of South Peak is a planked path equipped with an iron chain, with the help of which, adventurers can walk on the frightful path.

Be transferred to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Terracotta Warriors Museum, Xian City Wall, a traditional area of Xian, Enjoy Tang Dynasty performance.
Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.

Drive to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. Terracotta Warriors is the Eighth Wonder of the World, because of its historical significance and uniqueness. It is the a form of funerary art buried with Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first unifier of China dating back to 210 BC. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Every figure differs from those around in facial features and expression, clothing, hairstyle, and gestures. 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses are scatted in three excavated pits.

Then visit Xian City Wall. Built in the 14th century Ming Dynasty, Xian City Wall is the oldest, largest and best preserved city wall of China. The city wall was used to be an important military defensive system to fortify the city. The Ancient City Wall boasts the gates, tunnels and watch towers. The South Gate and North Gate are the two main entrances to the inner city.
Take hiking or Bicycle tour around the City Wall.

Move on to visit a traditional area of Xian. Take a walk to find old Xian style restaurant. There are traditional houses and authentic snacks here.

Enjoy Tang Dynasty performance.
Tang Dynasty show is a performance of Chang'an music and dances that was originated in the Tang dynasty over a thousand years ago. The musicians present the music with the Tang-dynasty-style musical instruments and the dancers wear a Tang dynasty-style robe with long white silk sleeves. You will enjoy a national art reflecting the glory and richness of the Tang Dynasty era(618-907).

Be transferred to hotel after the tour.

Day 4. Cuihua Mountain, departure.
Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.

Drive to visit Cuihua Mountain. Cuihua Mountian is renowned as Chinese landslide miracle scenery and geological museum because of its most complete diversity of landslide appearance and its most typical structure. The mountain features 8 distinctive scenic spots with over 68 attractions. A variety of metamorphic rocks from middle geological Epoch, one billion years ago can be founded here.

Be transferred to airport for departure.
