Xian 5 Days Private Muslim Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Airport/train station pick-up, Shaanxi History Museum, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Muslim Street.  
• 
  
• Arrive in Xian. Meet your guide with your name sign at the exit of the airport or train station.
  Drive to Shaanxi History Museum, a comprehensive museum displaying the culture and history of Shaanxi Province. The basic exhibition is "Ancient Civilization of Shaanxi".
  Proceed to the Square between Bell Tower and Drum Tower. The two towers face each other across the square. There are some restaurants, shopping malls and cafes underneath the Square. The square is the good place for local people to relax and enjoy leisure time.
  Move on to Muslim Street. The street is a Perfect place to wander and taste all kinds of Muslim food. Many ancient building are well-preserved on this street with a history of more than 1,000 years.
  Then transfer you to the hotel for check in.

• Day 2. Xicang Flower and Bird Market, Outside view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi Folk Custom Park, Shaanxi Opera Park, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum.

  Your guide will pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Visit Xicang Flower and Bird Market first. the market is the most comprehensive and largest trading market in Xian. Besides flowers and birds, you may find antiques, old calligraphy and painting and daily necessities here.
  Take an outside view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This well-preserved ancient pagoda is a holy place for Buddhists. It is one of the landmark buildings of Xian.
• Head to Shaanxi Folk Custom Park to experience the folk culture of Shaanxi province. You may find many sculptures presenting the scenes of local life vividly.
  Then visit Shaanxi Opera Park. The park features the characteristics of local opera culture. You will have a good understanding of Qinqiang Opera in this park.
  Move on to Jianfu Temple to visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda is the heritage of Buddhist architectural art in the Tang Dynasty. It is is a typical work of the early Chinese square dense eaves brick pagoda.
  Visit Xian Museum in the temple. Over 130,000 cultural relics from various historical periods are housed in the museum.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Terracotta Army, pass by Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque.  
• 
  Your guide will pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit the famous Terracotta Army. Terracotta Army is a part of the Mausoleum of the Emperor Qin Shihuang(259-210BC), which was built by more than 700,000 workers in 38 years. More than 8,000 lifelike terracotta warriors and horses orderly arranged in in a large-scale battle formation protect the mausoleum of the emperor.
• After lunch, proceed to Great Mosque. We will pass by Ancient City Wall on the way. As the oldest, largest and best preserved city wall in China, Xian Ancient City Wall was constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) for military defense.
  Visit Great Mosque. Built in 742 during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Great Mosque was designed with traditional Chinese architecture style and decorated with Islamic culture. It is the place of worship for Muslims living in Xian.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Shaanxi Province Art Museum, Xian Antique Market, Xingqing Palace Park, Group Statue of Silk Road.

  Your guide will pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Head to Shaanxi Province Art Museum first. The museum is the largest art museum in western China. It houses more than 4,000 collections, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings, engraving, sculptures, calligraphy and folk handicrafts.
• Visit Xian Antique Market after lunch. The market is a paradise for antique collectors. you can find thousands of genuine pieces from large furniture to small coins, especially ceramic or porcelain pots in various shapes.
  Proceed to Xingqing Palace Park. Combining the characteristics of traditional Chinese architectural culture and foreign landscaping, Xingqing Palace Park is the largest city park in Xi'an and the oldest park of historical and cultural relics in China.
  Move on to Group Statue of Silk Road built in memory of the Silk Road of over 2,100 years ago. The statue depicts a team of businessmen on camels traveling on the Silk Road.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 5. Airport/train station see-off.

  Your guide will pick you up from hotel at appointed time and escort to the airport or train station to next destination.
