Drive to visit Bird Nest and Water Cube.
As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium, also called Bird's Nest, is located in the southern part of central area of Beijing Olympic Park. The National Stadium was used to hold the Olympic Games, the opening and closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, track and field events and the Soccer finals.
National aquatics center(Water Cube) is one of the landmark constructures during the 2008 Olympic Games. It was the major swimming pool constructed for the 2008 Olympic Games. National aquatics center and National Stadium are separately located on both sides of the northern end of Beijing city central axis and they together form a complete Beijing's image of a historical and cultural city.
Move on to visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Then
drive pass Changan Avenue, CBD area and Shimaotianjie.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour. (no dinner)
