Beijing One Day Farm Layover Travel of Badaling Great Wall and Xiaotangshan Farm

Drive to visit Badaling Great Wall. Located around 90 km northeast of Beijing, Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.
Badaling was built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty. This section of the Great Wall is the best preserved and most visited one. It is 7600 meters long and 1000 meters above sea level,commanding a strategic position in ancient times.

Then visit Xiaotangshan Farm. Founded in 1998, Xiaotangshan Farm is the first national agricultural science and technology park in Beijing. Covering a core area of 30 square kilometers, the park consists of seven zones, seed demonstration zone, aquaculture demonstration zone, facility demonstration zone, processing zone, and leisure zone. Visitors can found various flowers, vegetables, fruits and other
green products planted in large greenhouses. The central park includes Taiwan Sanyi Butterfly Orchid Breeding Base, orchid seedlings mericlone nursery, high-tech variety display greenhouse, eucalyptus bonsai display greenhouse, Ganoderma lucidum bonsai exhibition, 100-meter-long artificial fountain, botanical gardens, and Grape Gallery, etc.

Be transferred back to airport after the tour. (Lunch)
