Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30.
Drive to visit Fragrant Hill. Fragrant Hill Park was first built in 1186 and served as the emperor's traveling lodge for a long time. The park boasts beautiful landscape throughout the whole year. And the most enchanting sight is when smoke tree leaves turning red.
Then visit Jingshan Park. Jingshan is an artificial hill made from the soil which was excavated for the moats of the Forbidden City. Jingshan consists of five individual peaks, and on the top of each peak there lies an elaborate pavilion. Once as an imperial garden, the Jingshan park was situated right on the north of the Forbidden City.
Taste Chinese tea, enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea.
Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years.
Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.
Then we will visit Beijing Hutong. Hutongs are lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard). Most of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Many famous operas and dramas are based on the themes of hutong life. Man-power rickshaw is arranged for you to feel the Hutong of Beijing.
Visit Houhai Area. It is a part of Shichahai Lake. The bar street in this area is famous in Beijing.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
