Drive to visit Tianmen Mountain. Tianmen Mountain is located in Miyun District, 100 kilometers from downtown Beijing. It is a geological park with magnificent granite landscape and unique metamorphic core complexes. The main attraction "Tianmen Cave" formed about 120 million years ago is the biggest caves through mountains in north China. Travellers can enjoy the unique celestial landscapes of "Sun Rising from Tianmen" and "Moon Hanging on Tianmen" when the lights of sun and moon passing through Tianmen Cave. The mountain has the only wild dense maples in Beijing.
