Itinerary
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30.
Drive to visit Gubei Water Town. Underneath the Simatai Great Wall, Gubei Water Town is a combination of mountains, water, ancient villages. The houses with style of Ming and Qing Dynasties were buit alone the river bank. There are cultural streets in the town introducing some traditional crafts of ancient times in China.
Climb the Simatai Great Wall. Simatai has only been partially repaired and so maintains a more original appearance. It is 5.4km long with 35 watchtowers. Simatai Great Wall is reputed by its five unique features: perilous, dense, diverse, artful and peculiar. Simatai Great Wall is a favorite place for explorer, photographers, climbers and hikers, although it needs two and half hours' driving from Beijing city.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
