  • Day 1. Beijing Arrival.  

  • Arrive in Beijing. Meet your guide with your name sign at the exit of the airport or railway station.
    Transfer you to the hotel.
  • Free for the remainder of the day.

  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Fragrant Hill Park, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.  

  • Your private guide will pick you up from the hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
    Start the tour with Tiananmen Square where the national flag raising ceremony is held on. The square is the largest city plaza in the world. Move on to Forbidden City. Also called "Palace Museum” or "Gugong" in Chinese, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1420-1912). It is the largest imperial palace complex in the world.
  • Head to Fragrant Hill Park in the afternoon. First built in 1186 and served as the emperor's traveling lodge for a long time, the park is rich in cultural relics and historic sites. The best time to visit the park is late fall, when the smoke tree leaves on the hill turn red.
    Then proceed to take an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. These two main venues for the Beijing Olympics of 2008 are the engineering marvels in the world.
    Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.

  • Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace.   

  • Your private guide will pick you up from the hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
    Drive 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. With a history of 1400 years, Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall. 23 original watchtowers distribute along the wall. The wall is covered with flourish grasses and dense forests. You can enjoy colorful leaves in the late autumn.
  • Proceed to Summer Palace in the afternoon. As the best-preserved imperial garden in the world, Summer Palace is renowned for its spectacular architectures and natural scenery. It is one of the most beautiful places in Beijing in autumn. The ancient buildings are decorated by red and yellow leaves, and colorful chrysanthemums.
    Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour.
