Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival.  
• 
  Reach in airport of Beijing. Your will be met by private guide at the exit and transferred to the hotel.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
  Proceed to visit Forbidden City. Being the world's largest palace complex, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912). It is the essence of ancient Chinese palace architecture and was listed as the World Cultural Relics in 1987.
• After lunch, we will visit Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420 during Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. The main buildings are Circular Mound Altar, Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.
  Move on to visit Summer Palace. Known as the "Museum of Royal Gardens", Summer Palace is a blend of hills, open water and ancient architectures. The Long Corridor in the Summer Palace is the longest corridor in the world.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Mutianyu Great Wall, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.

  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive to Ming Tomb, which is the final resting place of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors, along with 23 empresses and a number of concubines. It has a history of over 600 years.
  Visit Changling Tomb built for the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty in 1409 AD. Chang Ling is the largest tomb in architectural scale. The hall of Chang Ling is the largest structure of nanmu wood in China.
• After lunch, move on to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu is less crowded than Badaling section, but has better architectures and sceneries. There are 22 watchtowers distributed along the wall which stretches for about 2250 meters long. Cable car is available and optional.
  On the way back to Beijing city, have an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the main stadiums of the 2008 Olympic Games, these two building are landmark structures of new Beijing.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Beijing Hutong, Transfer to Xingang Port before 17:00.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Beijing Hutong, which shows the culture and life style of old Beijing. Take a Man-power rickshaw to discover the old lanes and traditional courtyard residences.
• Afterwards, be transferred to Xingang Port before 17:00 to connect your cruise ship.
