  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Fayuan Temple, Lama Temple.

  • Day 1. Arrive in Beijing.  

  • Be met from Beijing airport or train station by private guide and transferred to hotel for checking in.

  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Fayuan Temple, Lama Temple.  

  • Be picked up from hotel by private guide at 08:30 in the morning.
    First head to Tiananmen Square, the site for massive parades and rallies in Beijing. The square is the largest city plaza in the world and has witnessed the founding of the new China.
    Enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. As the largest and best-preserved palace complex, it was listed in the World Cultural Relics in 1987.
  • Visit Fayuan Temple after lunch. Built in 645 during the Tang Dynasty, the temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China. It is now the location of Chinese Buddhist Institute and Museum of Buddhist Books.
    Proceed to Lama Temple. The temple is the largest and best-preserved Tibetan monastery in Beijing. It was once the royal residence of Emperor Yongzheng before he ascended the throne. Lama Temple houses precious Buddhist sculptures, stone carvings and Tibetan-style murals.
    Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.

  • Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, Hongluo Temple.  

  • Be picked up from hotel by private guide at 08:30 in the morning.
    Visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning. Featuring picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate, Mutianyu is the longest fully-restored section of Great Wall with 23 original watchtowers.
  • Proceed to Hongluo Temple in the afternoon. With a history of over 1600 years, Hongluo Temple is the birthplace of Buddhism in north China. Besides the ancient architectures, there are three views worth to see: Imperial Bamboo Forest, Male and Female Gingko and Wisterias Enwinding Pine.
    Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.

  • Day 4. Biyun Temple, Wofo Temple, Summer Palace.  

  • Be picked up from hotel by private guide at 08:30 in the morning.
    Drive to Biyun Temple, a compact and well-preserved garden style temple. The double stone lion in front of the mountain gate, the clay painted sculptures in the palace and the murals in Maitreya palace are all art treasures.
    Move on to Wofo Temple. There is a sandalwood recumbent Buddha of Tang Dynasty and bronze recumbent Buddha of Yuan Dynasty inside the temple.
  • After lunch, proceed to Summer Palace. Known as the "Museum of Royal Gardens", Summer Palace is a blend of hills, open water and ancient architectures. It is the largest imperial garden of China and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
    Be sent back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.
