Day 1. Arrival
Arrive in Beijing.
Be met from airport by private vehicle and be transferred to hotel for checking in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2.Tiananmen Square, National Museum, Forbidden City, Beijing Hutong, Houhai area.
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Then visit National Museum. The National Museum of China consists of two separate museums: the Museum of the Chinese Revolution in the northern wing and the National Museum of Chinese History in the southern wing. The National Museum of China houses over 620,385 cultural items in its permanent art collection. The museum also possess many Chinese historical artifacts that would not be found in other museums such as the heaviest ancient bronze- Simuwu Ding.
After lunch, visit Forbidden City, which is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. The palace was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for almost 500 years, 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty. As one of the World Cultural Relics, Forbidden Ctiy consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms.
Move on to visit Beijing Hutong. Hutongs are lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard). Most of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Many famous operas and dramas are based on the themes of hutong life. Man-power rickshaw is arranged for you to feel the Hutong of Beijing.
Then visit Houhai area. It is a part of Shichahai Lake. The bar street in this area is famous in Beijing.
Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Underground Palace of Ming Tomb, Sacred Way, Lunch, Mutianyu Great Wall.
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Drive to visit Underground Palace of Dingling Tomb. Ding Ling (the Tomb of Ding) is the mausoleum of the 13th emperor (Wanli) of the Ming Dynasty, who had the longest reign in Ming dynasty.
With five chambers, the underground palace of Dingling is 27 meters deep with a total floor space of 1,195 square meters. All chambers were built of stone without using a single beam or column. Dingling is the only excavated tomb for archaeological exploration. Tourists can see precious antiques in the exhibition halls.
Then visit Sacred Way. The Sacred Way stretches 7 kilometers from south to north through the center of the tombs area. It was originally built for the first tomb Changling - the tomb of Emperor Yongle, the most powerful emperor in the Ming dynasty. But as the later tombs were built either to the right or to the left, it became the main road to all of them. They formed one group, but each tomb is independent of the other. Each lies at the foot of a hill.
After lunch, we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Located around 90 km northeast of Beijing, Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.
Mutianyu section was first built in the mid-6th century. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Mutianyu Great Wall features picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate. The scenery in spring and autumn is excellent. Mutianyu Great Wall is not so crowded as Badaling section.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 4. Enjoy the Highlights of Ancient Chinese Mural, Local Architecture Museum, Local culture museum, Qianmen Street including Rongbaozhai.
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Drive to enjoy masterpiece of mural painting dating back to Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). The painting adopt the traditional Chinese realistic painting method characterized by fine brush work and close attention in detail. All painters were recruited from all over China and worked under the supervision of famous court painters.
Then visit a local Architecture Museum. It is the first thematic museum collecting, studying and displaying the Chinese ancient architecture technology, art and developing history.
Vist a local culture museum. It is a culture museum to show the ancient capital style of Beijing. the predecessor of the museum is a temple which was first built by the emperor Shenzong in Ming dynasty for his mother. It was called the first temple in the capital at that time.
Move on to visit Qianmen Street including Rongbaozhai. Near Tian'anmen Square, Qianmen Street is a renowned pedestrian street, with 840 meters long and 21 meters wide. The buildings in this street resemble the late Qing Dynasty. Many time-honored brands can be found here, such as Tongrentang, Ruifuxiang, Zhangyiyuan, Neiliansheng, Quanjude, Douyichu etc.
Among the shops on Qianmen Street, Rongbaozhai (Studio of Glorious Treasures) is the most famous with a history of over 200 years. the craftsmen here used traditional technique of woodblock color printing to reproduce many internationally renowned reproductions of Chinese paintings.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 5. Departure
Be picked up from your hotel and transfer to airport for departure.
