Six Days Beijing Private Autumn Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Beijing Entry.  
• 
  Reach Beijing airport or railway station. Your private guide will wait at the exit and escort you to hotel for check in.
  Free for the remainder of the day.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
  Enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. The palace was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for almost 500 years, 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty. It is the largest imperial palace complex in the world.
• After lunch, head to Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420 during Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. In autumn, the golden leaves of Ginkgo Bilobas decorate the ancient buildings more charming.
  Proceed to Beihai Park. Besides the lakes, hills, ancient temple and towers, you may enjoy the colorful chrysanthemums in fall. The annual Chrysanthemum Flower Exhibition is held in this imperial garden from late October to early November.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour at around 6:00pm.

• Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Firstly head to Mutianyu Great Wall. As one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall, Mutianyu features dense watch towers and breathtaking sceneries.When autumn comes, the leaves of the trees around the great wall change to red and gold. It is enjoyable to walk alone the wall.
• Visit Summer Palace in the afternoon. This world's best-preserved imperial garden is a blend of natural scenery and artificial landscape. With rich and gorgeous color of tree leaves and flowers, the garden is one of the best places to go in autumn.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour at around 6:00pm.

• Day 4. Frgrant Hill, Jingshan Park, Beijing Hutong, Houhai Area.

  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Head to Frgrant Hill Park to see red leaves. With a history of over 800 years, the park boasts beautiful landscape throughout the whole year. The most enchanting sight is when smoke tree leaves turning red. the Red Autumnal Leaves Festival is held here every year.
• Then visit Jingshan Park. The top of Jingshan Hill is the best palace to have a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Besides the golden leaves and varicolored flowers, you can also find some big trees with red persimmons.
  Move on to Beijing Hutong in Shichahai Area. The narrow lanes or alleys are surrounded by traditional courtyard residences. Take a rickshaw to feel the culture and daily life of local residents.
  Then take a walking along the Houhai Lake. The autumn leaves on the bank are reflected in the clear water, which make you totally relax.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the tour at around 6:00pm.

• Day 5. Enjoy scenery of Ginkgo Biloba, Sanlitun Area, Xiushui Market, Beijing Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.

  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to the Ginkgo Avenue on the Diaoyutai Road. This is one of the most popular avenues to enjoy the leaves of Ginkgo Biloba in autumn. The road is covered by thick golden leaves, which attracts many people coming here to take photos.
  Move on to visit Sanlitun Area. Located in the Second Embassy District, Sanlitun Area is the liveliest and most compact nightlife district in Beijing. It is noted for the bars of various traits.
• After lunch, visit Xiushui Market. Also called Silk Market or Silk Street Market, it is a shopping center housing 1,700 retail vendors. Except silk and fashion clothes, various kinds of items can be bought here.
  
• Taste Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. Roast Duck is delicious food with Beijing local flavor and is seen to be one of the foods absolutely supposed to eat while in Beijing.
  Enjoy the Acrobatic Show in the evening. You will be amazed by the performers' strength, balance, flexibility and endurance beauty of human body.
  Transfer you back to the hotel after the show.

• Day 6. Beijing Exit.

  Pick you up from hotel and transfer you to airport or railway station to see off.
