Day 3. Underground Palace of Ming Tomb, Lunch, Mutianyu Great Wall.(Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5. Tiananmen Square since Ming Dynasty, National Museum, Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty - Forbidden City, Outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 6. Be met from hotel and transfer to airport for departure. (Breakfast)
Day 1. Arrival
Arrive in Beijing.
Be met from airport by private vehicle and be transferred to hotel for checking in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2.Temple from Tang Dynasty, Imperial College, City Wall Ruin Park of Yuan Dynasty, Chinese Tea Tasting, Beijing Hutong since Yuan dynasty.
Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Visit a temple from Tang Dynasty. It is an old temple with the longest history in Beijing. The temple is an important place to train young Sangha and study Buddhist culture. As the ancient architecture of Qing dynasty, it was also listed in the fifth National Key Culture Relics Protection Units.
Then visit Imperial College. It was the the highest learning institute during Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Emperors in imperial China used to frequent the place to read Confucian classics to thousands of students.
After lunch, visit City Wall Ruin Park of Yuan Dynasty. The Park was located on the relices of Tucheng City of Yuan Dynasty, which was built from 1267 to 1276. The remains of the city wall has a length of 4,173 meters.
Taste Chinese tea, enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea.
Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years.
Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.
Move on to visit Beijing Hutong. Hutongs are lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard). Most of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Many famous operas and dramas are based on the themes of hutong life. Man-power rickshaw is arranged for you to feel the Hutong of Beijing.
Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

Day 3. Underground Palace of Ming Tomb, Lunch, Mutianyu Great Wall.

Drive to visit Underground Palace of Dingling Tomb. Ding Ling (the Tomb of Ding) is the mausoleum of the 13th emperor (Wanli) of the Ming Dynasty, who had the longest reign in Ming dynasty.
With five chambers, the underground palace of Dingling is 27 meters deep with a total floor space of 1,195 square meters. All chambers were built of stone without using a single beam or column. Dingling is the only excavated tomb for archaeological exploration. Tourists can see precious antiques in the exhibition halls.
After lunch, we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Located around 90 km northeast of Beijing, Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.
Mutianyu section was first built in the mid-6th century. It is the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 22 original style watchtowers. Mutianyu Great Wall features picturesque landscape with 90% forest coverage rate. The scenery in spring and autumn is excellent. Mutianyu Great Wall is not so crowded as Badaling section.

Day 4. City Wall from Ming Dynasty, Temple and Music from Ming Dynasty, Lunch, Mural of Ming Dynasy, Imperial Park start from Yuan Dynasty.

Drive to visit City Wall from Ming Dynasty. The Ming City Wall was first built in 1419, with a length of 24 kilometers. The only remaining relic is located between Chongwenmen and Southeast Coner Tower, about 1.5 kilometers long. It is considered as an important symbol of Beijing. The tower located on the southeast coner of the city wall is the only and biggest tower around the city wall's coner. It was first built in 1436 as military defensive structure.
Then visit a temple and Music from Ming Dynasty. Built in 1443, the temple is a Buddhist temple. It preserves the only wooden structures and groups of buildings from the Ming Dynasty in Beijing. It is also renowned for statues, Buddhist Scriptures, murals and Buddhist music.
After lunch, vist a temple to enjoy Mural of Ming Dynasy. It covers about 20,000 square meters. The legacy and main features of this temple are the paintings with high artistic value. The images of the characters on the exquisite murals are so vivid and colorful that even 600 years have passed they never changed. This is quite precious Chinese ancient mural art.
Move on to visit an Imperial Park start from Yuan Dynasty, Beihai Park. Beihai Park was first dug out in the 12th century, with the excavated earth used to form a central island. It is the oldest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. The park covers an area of 69 hectares including a 39-hectare lake. In the park, lakes and hills wind along pavilions and towers, trees and flowers.

Day 5. Tiananmen Square since Ming Dynasty, National Museum, Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty - Forbidden City, Outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.

Drive to visit visit Tiananmen Square. First built in 1417 during the Ming Dynasty, the Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Then visit National Museum. The National Museum of China consists of two separate museums: the Museum of the Chinese Revolution in the northern wing and the National Museum of Chinese History in the southern wing. The National Museum of China houses over 620,385 cultural items in its permanent art collection. The museum also possess many Chinese historical artifacts that would not be found in other museums such as the heaviest ancient bronze- Simuwu Ding.
After lunch, vist imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty - Forbidden City. Known as the Palace Museum, Forbidden City is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. The palace was the exclusive domain of the imperial court for almost 500 years. As one of the World Cultural Relics, the palace consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms.
Have an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium, also called Bird's Nest, is located in the southern part of central area of Beijing Olympic Park. The National Stadium was used to hold the Olympic Games, the opening and closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, track and field events and the Soccer finals.
National aquatics center is one of the landmark constructures during the 2008 Olympic Games. It was the major swimming pool constructed for the 2008 Olympic Games. National aquatics center and National Stadium are separately located on both sides of the northern end of Beijing city central axis and they together form a complete Beijing's image of a historical and cultural city.
