Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide at 08:30.
Then arrive in Qianmen Area to start our walking tour. Visit Zhengyangmen Tower. It is the highest one in Beijing. With 38 meters, the tower has four storeys. With grey pantiles and glazed tiles, The roof is the double-eave and Xieshan style.
Then visit China Railway Museum. It is the representative early building of Chinese modern railway station.
Visit Tianmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political institutions, the square is the final resting place of Chairman Mao Zedong. Tiananmen square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China. Ascending Tiananmen Rostrum to overlooking the Tian'anmen Square.
Then move on to visit Zhongshan Park. The Zhongshan Park was originally an imperial garden that houses the Altar of Earth and Grain. In the Ming and Qing dynasties,emperors came to the garden to pray to the gods of earth and agriculture. In the park, there is a greenhouse that includes 39 varieties of tulips presented by the Princess of Holland in 1977.
Visit Ancestral Temple. The temple was the ancentral temple where mperors offered sacrifices to their ancestors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Covering an area of 139,650 square meters, it was built in the Ming dynasty in year 1420 and is one of the most well preserved intact Ming architecture building groups.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
