Beijing Grand Theatre and Zhongshan Park Walking Tour

Itinerary

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide at 08:30 am.

Then arrive in Grand Theatre.
Covering an area of 11.89 million square meters, National Grand Theatre is located in the city center of Beijing, near Tan'anmen Square and Great Hall of the People. Designed by French architect Paul Andreu, the exterior of the Theatre is a titanium accented glass dome surrounded by artificial lake, like an egg floating on water.

Then visit Grand Hall of the People. It is the important place for the Party, the State and the mass organizations to hold political activities. Halls of different nations are featured ones.

Then visit China Numismatic Museum exhibiting the development of Chinese coins.

Visit Zhongshan Park, which is originally an imperial garden. In the Ming and Qing dynasties,emperors came to the garden to pray to the gods of earth and agriculture. In the park, there is a greenhouse that includes 39 varieties of tulips presented by the Princess of Holland in 1977.

Then visit Corner Tower of Forbidden City.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
