Beijing One Day Sightseeing of Olympic Park and Temple of Heaven from Xingang Port

Itinerary

Private vehicle and English speaking tour guide will pick you up from Xingang port at around 08:00 am. 
Drive 170 kilometers (around 3 hours) to Beijing City.

Visit Olympic Park. Olympic Park consists of the Olympic Stadiums and Olympic Forest Park. There are 14 competition venues here. Have an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium, also called Bird's Nest, is located in the southern part of central area of Beijing Olympic Park. The National Stadium was used to hold the Olympic Games, the opening and closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, track and field events and the Soccer finals.
National aquatics center is one of the landmark constructures during the 2008 Olympic Games. It was the major swimming pool constructed for the 2008 Olympic Games. National aquatics center and National Stadium are separately located on both sides of the northern end of Beijing city central axis and they together form a complete Beijing's image of a historical and cultural city.

Then visit Temple of Heaven.  Built in 1420 during Ming Dynasty, Temple of Heaven is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. The emperor came to the temple every winter to pray for ample harvests and good weather. Strictly built on the basis of philosophical requirements, the temple in many ways features the relationship between Heaven and Earth.

Transfer back to the Xingang Port after the tour.
