Focus: Fresco of Ming Dynasty, Beijing Art Museum, National Art Museum of China

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Drive to an old temple to enjoy masterpiece of mural painting dating back to Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). The painting adopt the traditional Chinese realistic painting method characterized by fine brush work and close attention in detail. All painters were recruited from all over China and worked under the supervision of famous court painters.
Then visit Beijing Art Museum. With varieties of art collections from the Primitive society to Ming and Qing dynasty in it, Beijing Art Museum is located in Wanshou Temple. Wanshou Temple was first built in 1577 as the royal dedicated temple. After several times of renovation in Qing dynasty, it has become the important royal temple with temples, palaces and gardens together. It has been called Little National Museum in West Beijing.
Move on to visit National Art Museum of China. The National Art Museum of China is a national museum dedicated to the collection, research and exhibitions of modern and contemporary artistic works in China.
The museum houses more than 100,000 pieces of various collections, most of which are creations around the establishment of new China. Some collections are masterpieces from the late Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The museum also collects hundreds of foreign artistic works. German collectors Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ludwig donated 117 pieces of foreign works in 1999, including four oil paintings by Picasso.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
