Day 1. Simatai Great Wall + Gubei Watertown

Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.

Drive to visit Gubei Watertown to start Simatai Great Wall 2 days package trip. Underneath the Simatai Great Wall, Gubei Water Town is a combination of mountains, water, ancient villages. The houses with style of Ming and Qing Dynasties were buit alone the river bank. There are cultural streets in the town introducing some traditional crafts of ancient times in China.

Then visit Simatai Great Wall.
The Great Wall was built and maintained between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. It was originally built to protect the empire from northern invaders. The Great Wall stretches through the countryside over deserts, hills and plains for 8,851.8 kilometers.

Simatai Great Wall has only been partially repaired and so maintains a more original appearance. It is 5.4km long with 34 watchtowers. Simatai Great Wall is reputed by its five unique features: perilous, dense, diverse, artful and peculiar. Great Wall at Simatai section is a favorite place for explorer, photographers, climbers and hikers, although it needs two and half hours' driving from Beijing city. see Simatai Great Wall tour map.

Day 2. Wine Castle, Local Plantation, Transfer back to Beijing.

Drive to visit a wine castle. It is a comprehensive international chateau with wine making, travel, recreation and knowledge training of grape wine. With Europe-style, the Wine Castle has many areas including grape-picking garden, Gothic Castle, underground wine cella, Europe Town, and Mountain Landscape area.

Drive to visit the Local Plantation near the Wine Castle. Experience the morden agricultural garden.

Be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing after the whole day tour at around 18:00.
