Shanghai 3 Days Private Family Tour with Zhouzhuang Water Town

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Shanghai arrival, Shanghai Museum, People's Square, Shikumen Museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund.  
• 
  Arrive in Shanghai. Be picked up from airport or train station and transferred to Shanghai Museum. With a round top and a square base, the building of the museum symbolizes the old Chinese philosophy. A large collections of exhibitions show the history of ancient China.
• Then visit People's Square, the site of Shanghai Municipal Government Mansion. This garden-style square is also the city's important transportation hubs.
  Proceed to Shikumen Museum. The museum showcases a real life of a middle-class family living in a Shikumen house, which is an unique local residence in Shanghai.
  Move on to Nanjing Road. It is a paradise for shoppers. Nanjing Road is the most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai and one of the top ten pedestrian streets in China.
  Visit the most popular landmark of Shanghai, the Bund. It is a waterfront promenade on the west bank of Huangpu River. 52 various European-style buildings stand side by side here, so the Bund is famed as "Exhibition of International Buildings".
  Be delivered to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Zhouzhuang Water Town.    
• 
  Drive about 2 hours to Zhouzhuang Water Town. With a history of about 1,000 years, Zhouzhuang Water Town is famous for well-preserved residential houses, distinctive stone bridges, elegant watery views and local culture.
• Be transferred back to the hotel in the afternoon.

• Day 3. Yu Garden, Wukang Road, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Outside view of China Hall of Shanghai Expo, Binjiang Avenue, Shanghai departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from the hotel at 08:30am.
  Visit Yu Garden first. Yu Garden is a traditional garden in southern China with pavilions, cloisters, bridges, ponds and rockeries. It was a private garden during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.(1368-1911).
  Take a stroll on Wukang Road. Located in Former French Concession, Wukang Road was reputed as a “Celebrity Road” presenting the one-century modern history of Shanghai city.
• Drive to Pudong New Area, which is the symbol of China's reform and opening-up.
  Then visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the most recognizable landmark of Shanghai City. It is made up of 11 spheres and provides 3 major sightseeing floors for a bird's eye view of the city in different height.
  Take an outside view of China Hall of Shanghai Expo. Expo 2010 was held on both bank of Huangpu River in Shanghai. The shape of China Hall resembles "the Crown of the East", with Chinese red color and dougong brackets.
  Move on to Binjiang Avenue. With a length of about 2500 meters, Binjiang Avenue is a landscape park across the Hangpu River from the Bund. You can enjoy the unique charm of the river and the architectures across the river.
  Afterwards, be delivered to airport or train station for departure.
