Three Days Shanghai Young Adult Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrive in Shanghai, Xintiandi Area, Shanghai Museum, People's Square, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Evening Cruise on Huangpu River.  
• 
  Upon arrival at Shanghai airport or train station, you will find your guide waiting at the exit.
  Meet your guide and proceed to Xintiandi Area. Xintiandi is a mixture of tradition and modernity. The old Shikumen buildings were transformed into trendy restaurants, clubs, and boutiques. It is a good place for entertainment and dining.
  Then visit Shanghai Museum. The museum consists of eleven galleries and three exhibition halls displaying Chinese ancient history and art. More than 120,000 pieces of cultural relics are housed in the museum.
  Walk around on the People's Square, where Municipal Government Mansion is located. The square is the center of politics, culture, commerce and transportation of Shanghai.
• Move on to the most famous commercial area in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. Over 600 businesses on the road offer countless famous brands, superior quality, and new fashions.
  Go on to the Bund. Famed as "Exhibition of International Buildings", the Bund is the most popular place of Shanghai. It mainly features 52 various buildings with different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
• Take a cruise on Huangpu River to see the night scenery. On one side of the bank is the buildings with hundred of years' history, and on the other side are the grand Steel and glass structures in Lujiazui.
  Deliver you to check in the hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Suzhou and Zhouzhuang one day tour.

  Meet your guide at hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive to Suzhou to visit Humble Administrator's Garden. Humble Administrator's Garden is one of the top four classical gardens in China and the largest classical garden in Suzhou. The garden's scenery is focused on a central pond with various buildings of pavilions, terraces, chambers and towers located by the water or on hillocks in a natural, unsophisticated and appropriate composition.
• Then visit Grand Canal. Also called Jing-Hang Grand Canal, Grand Canal is the longest artificial canal in the world. Its section in Suzhou makes a circuit around Suzhou Old City. Take a cruise to enjoy the whitewashed houses, ancient city gates and various bridges along the canal.
  Continue to Zhouzhuang Water Town. With a history of about 1,000 years, Zhouzhuang Water Town is called the "Venice of the East". This ancient town is famous for well-preserved residential houses, distinctive stone bridges, elegant watery views and local culture.
  Deliver you back to the hotel in Shanghai after the tour.

• Day 3. Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Huaihai Road, Depart from Shanghai.

  Meet your guide at hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  First go to visit Yu Garden, a private garden during the Ming and Qing Dynasties(1368-1911). The garden features authentic old architectures, rockeries and exquisite carvings.
  Then visit Jade Buddha Temple. The temple is famous for magnificent architectures and some precious Buddha statues, including a sitting Buddha Statue from Burma and a reclining Buddha Statue from Singapore.
• Proceed to Pudong New Area. The area is the symbol of China's reform and opening-up. It is one of the important financial centers of the world.
  Visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The tower is a good place to catch a panoramic view of whole city. With 468 meters high in total, it is the world’s sixth and Asia's fourth TV and radio tower.
  Move on to another shopping paradise in Shanghai, Huaihai Road. Famed as "Oriental Champs Elysees", Huaihai Road is popular for its French romance and delicacy. You may find many international brands here.
  Afterwards, deliver you to the airport or train station to see off.
