Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Entry Shanghai, Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, The Bund. Welcome dinner, 1-2 hours conference.

Drive to visit Yu Garden.
Located in the southern part of Shanghai, Yu Garden is a well-restored Suzhou-style garden. It is one of the best gardens in southern China. With pavilions, halls, chambers, towers, ponds and rockeries, it presents more than 40 scenic spots. No wonder people say "Those who have come to Shanghai missing Yu Garden and the City God Temple Bazaar can not claim that they have been to the city."

Then visit Shanghai Museum.
Shanghai Museum is famous for its large collection of rare cultural pieces. It features 120000 pieces collections hence to be regarded as one of the best museums in China. The cultural pieces include ancient bronze exhibit, Chinese sculpture, ceramics, jades, calligraphy, as well as other ancient Chinese artwork.

The Bund photoMove on to visit The Bund. The Bund is one of the most representative scenic spot in Shanghai. Day 2. Suzhou Garden: Humble Administrator's Garden, Grand Canal, PingJiang Street, 1-2 hours conference.

Drive to Suzhou to visit Humble Administator's Garden. Located in the northeastern part of Suzhou city, Humble Administrator's Garden the largest private garden in Suzhou. First laid out in 1509 AD, the garden's scenery is focused on a central pond with various buildings of pavilions, terraces, chambers and towers located by the water or on hillocks in a natural, unsophisticated and appropriate composition.

Then visit Grand Canal. The Grand Canal, 1,764 km (about 1200 miles) in length, is the longest man-made waterway as well as being the greatest in ancient China, far surpassing the next two grand canals of the world: the Suez and Panama Canals. Running from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in the south to Beijing in the north of China, Grand Canal connects different river systems in China.

Visit Ping Jiang Ancient Street. Pingjiang Ancient Street is a street along the Pingjiang River, with a history of about 800 years old. The street is the best-preserved historical block in Suzhou, still maintaining its features of ancient Chinese water town. It is a miniature of ancient Suzhou City.

Day 3. Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Pudong New Area, Cruise on Huangpu River. departure.

Drive to visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the world's third tall TV and radio tower with 468 meters high in total. It is made up of 11 balls and provides 3 major sightseeing floors for a bird's eye view of the city in different height. The tower could be seen from the Bund. The three-dimensional lighting will shimmers with brilliant color every night.

Then visit Pudong New Area.
Bounded by the Huangpu River in the west and the East China Sea in the east, Pudong New District arose from China's policy of 'Opening Up' and economic development. Covering an area of 570,000m2, Pudong New District is now considered a modern new urban district and Shanghai's modernization and prestige as center of world commerce.

Cruise on Huangpu River for one hour. As a symbol of Shanghai, Huangpu River run through the city and divides Shanghai into east and west. Boat is available for travelers to cruise on this charming river. It seems that travelers is cruising in a river of history; On one side of the bank is the building with hundred of years' history, on the other side you can find the grand Steel and glass structures in Pudong new district. The main sightseeing includes two suspension bridges, Nanpu Bridge and Yangpu Bridge, The Bund, Monument to the People's Heroes, Waibaidu Bridge, Huangpu Park (the oldest park in Shanghai).
