Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrive in Beijing.  
• 
  Be met by your guide in airport or train station and transfer to your hotel.
  The guide will help you to check in. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 09:00 in the morning.
  Drive to visit the largest city plaza in the world, Tiananmen Square. The square has witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
  The visit Forbidden City at the north end of the Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City is the largest palatial structure in the world. It was the home of emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Many cultural and historical relics are displayed in the Forbidden City.
  Drive to a local restaurant to have lunch and a short rest.
• Proceed to Temple of Heaven. Strictly built on the basis of philosophical requirements, the temple in many ways features the relationship between Heaven and Earth. It is the largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive 1.5 hours to the Ming Tombs, where 13 Ming Dynasty emperors were buried. Visit the the largest one Tomb, Changling. The main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
• Go on visiting Badaling Great Wall after lunch. As one of the seven wonders in the world, great wall is a must-go attraction when you are in Beijing. Badaling is the outstanding representative of the Great Wall. Cable car is optional to reach the high point.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo, Lama Temple, Roast Duck, Kongfu Show.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 09:00 in the morning.
  Drive to visit the largest imperial garden of China, Summer Palace. It is a blend of hills, open water and ancient architectures and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
• After lunch, go to Beijing Zoo to see Giant Panda. Beijing Zoo now the biggest zoo in China with the largest number of animal species.
  Then visit biggest lamasery in Beijing built in 1694. The Hall of Harmony and Peace is the main building of the temple.
• Be transferred to local restaurant to taste one of the traditional dishes of Beijing, Beijing Roast Duck.
  Watch Kongfu Show at night. Now, Chinese kongfu is an important part of Chinese culture.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the show.

• Day 5. Capital Museum, Beijing Hutong, Olympic Park.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 09:00 in the morning.
  Drive to Capital Museum. The museum is one of the best places to understand Beijing folk and culture. The highlights of Capital Museum covers pottery, jade, folk, Buddha arts and porcelains.
• Go to Beijing Hutong after lunch. The old narrow lanes show the culture and life style of the past in Beijing. Take a rickshaw to discover the traditional courtyard residences and feel the local life.
  Then visit Olympic Park. Built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, The park presents a unique cultural landscape. Take an outside view of the competition venues here including the famous Bird Nest and Water Cube.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.
