Popular Attractions of Xian Family Tour

Terracotta Warriors Museum is a must visit place for Family travelers to Xian.
Shannxi History Museum is another must visit place in Xian, but it is not suggested if you visit Xian during Chinese Public Holiday.
Xian Museum, in Chinese it is called 西安博物院, is suggested to replace Shannxi History Museum during weekend or Chinese holiday.

Xian Stele Museum: a good place to enjoy the highlights of Chinese handwriting
Tang Paradise is a good place in Ancient Chinese style. We suggest family travelers to visit this place in the afternoon at around 16:00 till 19:00.

The Special Arrangement for The Trip of Family Travelers

Itinerary arrangement: The fist and the important is the itinerary of the family trip should be in leisure pace, at least not hurry.

Attraction: Hotel of Xian family tour should consider the request and interest of Child or elder.

Hotel: Part of hotel offers family room, there are one extra small bed for child, which is very helpful for family with child. Another option on hotel is connecting room. There is a door to connect two adjacent rooms, which is convenient to take care of child or elder travelers.

Restaurant: Nice local restaurant will be used when arrange meal for private family trip in Xian.
Vehicle: We offers 5 seats car to 55 seats coach in Xian. Most family use 7 seats van or 15 seats van. All vehicles are air conditioned.

Guide: Part of family travelers prefer to have a female tour guide when travel Xian, especially when travel with child. Please let us know if you have this request.

Family Tour Should Avoid In Xian

Tight time schedule, because the elder and child can not walk fast. We suggest the attractions of Xian family trip should be limited within 3 big attractions, or within 4 small attractions. Too crowded attractions, which do not lead to pleasant experience. For example, the Shanxi History Museum is not suggested for the vacation of family during public holiday of China.

Attractions beyond middle level. For example, Mountain Hua is not suggested when family members include elders or children.

Places too far away from downtown Xian. The family tour to Xian should be limited within 1 hours' driving; otherwise the family member will be tired. We do not suggest Xian family tour to cover Hukou Waterfall, Yanan or Hanzhong.

Evening activity is not suggest when there is elder travelers, then the elders may have a good rest in hotel after daytime sightseeing in Xian.

#. Suggestion and Notes For this Family Trip:
\_ Flights will be use to connect Xian and Beijing, because it is Spring Festival transfer period. Train station is too crowded and tickets is very hard to guarantee.
\_ Tang Dynasty dinner and show is recommended in the evening of February 12, it is a little expensive (around 50 USD/person), but the performance is excellent.
\_ We suggest 4 star hotel, clean safe and decent, nice for personal travel. Please let us know if you need more higher or lower level hotel.

hello, we will take a family vacation to Xian this Summer. There are 2 adults and one child. I am interested in the warriors museum, history museum, city wall; are these places good for my family ? thank you for your email. Welcome to visit Xian. These places are all good for family travel of Xian. But we suggest you to visit Terracotta Warriors on early morning, i mean to reach the Terracotta Warriors before its business time. Then you will be one of the first travelers of the museum. It is not very crowded in this way.

History Museum will be a little crowded. Suggested you to visit Xian Museum if you prefer to visit a not so crowded museum. Please find the itinerary as below:
Xian Two Days Private Family Tour
Day 1. Be met from hotel. Drive to to visit Terracotta Warriors on early morning. Drive back to Xian to visit Xian Ancient City Wall. You may visit the Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to enjoy the biggest fountain of Asia in the evening.
Day 2. Visit Stele Museum to enjoy Chinese handwriting. Afternoon visit of Shaanxi History Museum or Xian Museum.
