Brief Itinerary

  • Day 1. Enter Xian, Shaanxi History Museum, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Muslim Street.  
  • Day 2. Xicang Flower and Bird Market, Outside view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi Folk Custom Park, Shaanxi Opera Park, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum.  
  • Day 3. Terracotta Army, pass by Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque, Exit Xian.  

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1. Enter Xian, Shaanxi History Museum, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Muslim Street.  

  • Be met from Xian airport or train station by private guide and escorted to Shaanxi History Museum. More than 300,000 cultural relics are housed in the museum to present the culture and history of Shaanxi Province.
    Then head to Bell and Drum Tower Square. The square offers good views of Bell Tower and Drum Tower. It is a good place for to stroll and shop.
    Move to Muslim Street, a famous Muslim food street in Xian City. Besides various Muslim snacks, many ancient buildings are will-preserved in this street.
    Be delivered to the hotel.

  • Day 2. Xicang Flower and Bird Market, Outside view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi Folk Custom Park, Shaanxi Opera Park, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum.  

  • Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
    Discover Xicang Flower and Bird Market first. The market only opens on every Thursday and Sunday. Dating from Ming and Qing Dynasties(1368-1912), it is the largest flowers and birds market in Xian.
    Then have an outside view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the landmark buildings of Xian. It was built in 652 of Tang Dynasty and is a masterpiece of Buddhist pagodas.
    Visit Shaanxi Folk Custom Park to experience the folk culture of Shaanxi province. You can find many sculptures presenting the folk customs of Guanzhong area in the park.
    Move on to Shaanxi Opera Park. The park features the characteristics of local opera culture.
  • Proceed to Jianfu Temple to visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum. Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a typical example of square brick pagoda with multi-eave of early China and valuable heritage of Buddhist architectural art. Xian Museum collects over 130,000 cultural relics from various historical periods of Xian city.
    Be delivered to the hotel after the tour.

  • Day 3. Terracotta Army, pass by Ancient City Wall, Great Mosque, Exit Xian.  

  • Be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
    Visit Terracotta Army, the Eighth Wonder of the World. It is a must see in Xian. Terracotta Army served as afterlife guards for the mausoleum of the Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first unifier of China dating back to 210 BC.
  • Proceed to Great Mosque. We will pass by Ancient City Wall. Constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) for military defense, Xian Ancient City Wall is the oldest and largest ancient city wall in China.
    Visit Great Mosque, a important place for over 60,000 Muslims in Xian City. It was built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and is the largest and best-preserved Islamic mosque in China.
    Afterwards, be transferred to airport or train station to see off.
