Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Elephant Trunk Hill, Yunfeng Temple, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Dongxi Lane.   
• 
  Upon arrival at Guilin, you will be met by private guide at the exit of airport or train station.
  Drive to visit the symbol of Guilin city, Elephant Trunk Hill. With the breathtaking natural views and valuable cultural landscape, the hill looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the river.
  Visit the Yunfeng Temple in the southwest of hill. First built in 1214 during the Song Dynasty, The present temple is the antique building with steel and concrete structure. You many find the stone carving of Songzi Guanjin in the back of the temple.
• Then take a walking along Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is the waterway around downtown Guilin formed by Li River, Peach Blossom River, Banyan Lake, Chinese Fir Lake, Osmanthus Lake and Wooden Dragon Lake.
  Visit Sun and Moon Pagodas in the Chinese Fir Lake area. The nine-story Sun Pagoda is the tallest copper pagoda and building, and the tallest pagoda with underwater elevator. The Moon Pagoda is a seven-story glazed pagoda. The two pagodas were built on the basis of the stupas of Tang Dynasty.
  
  Move on to a historical area with the typical architectures of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Dongxi Lane. Many local snacks and items with ethnic characteristics can be found in this area.
  Be transferred to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Seven Star Park, Qixia Temple, Departure.

  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave, a brilliant cave known as "the Palace of Natural Arts". The cave houses various stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtain and rock formations formed from 180 million years ago.
  Proceed to Fubo Hill with lots of rock stone carvings and Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty. From the summit you may have a panorama of Li River and Guilin City.
• Head to the largest park in Guilin, Seven Star Park. It is the perfect fusion of mountains, water, caves, stones, courtyards, buildings, and cultural relics.
  Visit Qixia Temple in the park. The temple is the largest and most well preserved Buddhist temple with Tang Dynasty style. The most precious in the temple is the statue of Avalokitesvara made of white jade.
  
  Afterwards, be transferred to airport or train station for departure.
