Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Entry Beijing  
• 
  Arrive at Beijing airport, be met and transferred to hotel.
  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace  
• 
  After delicious breakfast in hotel, you will be met by tour guide in lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit the famous Tiananmen Square, which is respected by Chinese people as the most sacred place. Travelers may find several important buildings while take sightseeing, National Museum, Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, Monument to the People's Heroes, The Great Wall of the People, as well as the Tiananmen Rostrum.
  
  After a short sightseeing, we will walk to north to pass through a subway passage, Tiananmen Rosturm and then entery the Forbidden City. Being the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty, Forbidden City is also call Palace Museum. The grand buildings under yellow tile takes you back to the ancient dynasty. We will visit the main buildings of this huge complex from Wumen Gate to Wumen Gate along the central axis.
  
  
• Have lunch in a nice lodal restaurant and take a short break.
  Drive to visit Temple of Heaven. Being the sacrificial building complex of Ming and Qing Dynasty, Temple of Heaven the best place in Beijing to explore the ancient Chinese traditional royal sacrificial culture. The main place we will visit covers Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest. It is interesting to discover the secret of Whispering Wall and Tianxin Stone.
  
  Drive 40 minutes to visit Summer palace. Located 20 km northwest of Beijing, Summer Palace is a previous imperial garden, named Qingyi Garden. This is a typical northern China garden mainly composed of Wanshou Hill, Kunming Lake, 17 Holes Bridge and traditional Chinese building.
  
  You will be transferred back to hotel after the sightseeing.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Lunch, Badaling Great Wall  
• 
  Drive to Changping of Beijing to visit Ming Tomb. Being the final resting place of Ming Dynasty's 13 Emperors, Ming Tomb is located at the foot of Wanshou Mountain. We will visit the biggest one, Chingling Tomb.
  
  
• After lunch in Changping district, we will drive to visit one of the greatest wonders of the world Great Wall of China. Being the defensive project of ancient China, Great Wall was built between the 7th century BC and 17th century BC. Today we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall. This section of Wall was supervised by a famous general Xu Da based on the previous Northern Qi Great Wall site in 1368.
  
  Drive back to hotel in downtown Beijing after the sightseeing.

• Day 4. Beijing - Dunhuang  Dunhuang: Echoing-Sand Dune, Crescent Moon Lake.   
• 
  Be met from hotel at appointed time and transferred to airport to connect morning flight o Dunhuang.Dunhuang local tour guide meet you in airport after your flight reach Dunhuang.
  
  Drive to south suburb of Dunhuang to visit the famous Echoing-Sand Dune and Crescent Moon Lake.
  Echoing-Sand Dune and Crescent Moon Lake offers an amazing scenery of co-existence of oasis and desert. When the wind sweeps across the sands in Sunny days, a thunder-like sound can be heard from the mountain.
  The best visiting time is before sunset.
  
  
• Drive to hotel after the sightseeing.
• The tickets of Mogao Grottoes needs to be reserved in advance, please send us scanned copy of your passport when make reservation.

• Day 5. Dunhuang: Mogao Grottoes,  Fly to Xian.  
• 
  After delicious breakfast in hotel, you will be met from hotel lobby at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Mogao Grottoes. Start building in Wuhushiliuguo Periord (304 - 439), Mogao Grottoes is located 25 km soueast of Dunhuang city. Famous for murals and Buddhist statues, Maogao Grottoes houses more than 2,000 colored statues and 45,000 square meters mural.
  
  
• Enjoy your lunch in Dunhuang, then you will be transferred to airport to connect flight to Xian.
  After reaching Xian, you will be met and transferred to hotel for checking in.
  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 6. Xian : Terracotta, City Wall, Muslim Quarter  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am.
  Drive to Lintong of Xian to visit the eighth wonder of the world - Terracotta Warriors. Discovering more than 6000 pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC. Each terracotta figure differs in height, facial features, clothing, hairstyle and gestures. 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses are scatted in three excavated pits.
  
  
• Drive back to Xian city to visit Xian Ancient City Wall. Built in 1370, Xian City Wall used to be an important military defensive system to defence the city. The wall is equipped with 98 watch towers and and 18 gates. It is available to visit the city wall by foot, battery car or bike.
  
  Then we will drive to visit Muslim Quarter. Known as Huiminjie Street, Muslim Quarter is the Muslim community located in downtown Xian. More than 20000 Muslims are making their living in this area. Muslim food and souvenir market are thriving in Muslim Quarter.
  
  Drive back to hotel after the sightseeing.

• Day 7. Xian flight to Guilin.   Guilin: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill.  
• 
  Be met from hotel in Xian and transferred to Xianyang Airport to connect flight to Guilin.
• After reaching Guilin, you will be met by Guilin local private guide and driver.
  Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave. Being a majestic Karst cave in Guilin, Reed Flute Cave is famous for stalactites and stalagmites, which was formed in past 700,000 years. Except the natural scenery, ancient poetic inscriptions are also available in the cave.
  
  Then we will drive to visit Elephant Trun Hill. Being the symbol of Guilin City, Elephant Trunk Hill is elephant-shaped hill with its long trunk in the water of Li River.

• Day 8. Li River Cruise  
• 
  Be met from your hotel after breakfast at appointed time and then transferred to cruise port to start the pleasant cruising time on Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo.
  Enjoy the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo with lunch onboard. You may find picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms, fisherman, villages and water buffaloes in the cruising trip of around 4 hours.
  
  
• The cruising trip ends in a small town named Yangshuo. We will take a short sightseeing in Yangshuo before being transferred back to Guilin.

• Day 9. Guilin to Shanghai,  Shanghai: The Bund.  
• 
  Be met from Guilin hotel and transferred to airport to connect morning flight to Shanghai.
  
• After reaching Shanghai, you will be met by private vehicle and then transferred to hotel.
  Take a short rest in hotel, then we will drive to visit The Bund. Being called Waitan (外滩) in Chinese, this is a good place to enjoy different kinds of architecture styles on the west bank as well as the modern buildings on the east Bank.

• Day 10. Shanghai : Yu Garden, Yu Market, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Huangpu River Cruise  
• 
  After delicious breakfast in hotel, you will be met by Shanghai local tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Yu Garden. This is a Chinese traditional garden in Suzhou style built in 1577. The beautiful scenery and the traditional Chinese architecture made the garden being one of the most visit attractions in Shanghai.
  After visiting the garden we will visit a local market just outside of Yu Garden. You many find many booming stores or stalls. This is a good place to find local Shanghai snack or souvenir.
  
  Drive to Nanjing Road, to visit this first business street. With a history of over 100 years, Nanjing Road start from the Bund and ends at the area near Jingan Temple in the east. Modern shopping malls, famous brand stores, theaters, international hotels as well as traditional shopping stores are all available.
• Have lunch in a nice local restaurant.
  Drive to visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Located in Pudong Lujiazui Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is unique designed TV and radio tower. With a height of 468 meters, the tower is composed of 11 balls and pillars. Three huge balls provides sightseeing or dinning service. We will board the second ball to take a bird view of Shanghai.
  
  Then we will take a Huangpu River Cruise. You may find old Shanghai on the west bank and new Shanghai on the east bank. Two suspension bridges, Nanpu Bridge and Yangpu Bridge are good places to take photo.
  You will be transferred to hotel after the sightseeing.
