Beijing has rich geothermal resources. According to the current geological exploration, the area of geothermal deposit are over 1,000 square meters, which is a large range and rarely seen in China. The hot spring water in Beijing is of high quality. The content of trace elements has reached the standard of drinking mineral water. About ten geothermal fields had been exploited.

According to geographical distribution, it is divided into four parts including the hot spring in Xiaotangshan, Shunyi District, Liangxiang, Yanqing County, Shahe and etc. Some of them have strong hot spring culture putting emphasis on bath, entertainment and health care, like the hot spring in Yanqing County area. And some of them have special interest on fish breeding and vegetables growing, like the hot spring in Xiaotangshan area.

Swimwear and slippers are necessary in the hot spring area and watch your steps. Choose the suitable hot spring temperature as you wish.

A short break on the shore is important after about 15 minutes' immersion. And then the immersion in the high temperature pool should not be over 10 minutes.  Too long time in the hot-spring will make you a dry mouth and chest tightness. Then a short break on the shore is important.

This is private tour, and we have 1 and half months before tour date. It is possible to change the Ming Tomb to Hotspring. We will arrange one of the best Hotspring in Beijing. The extra cost is 30USD/person. So we will arrange sightseeing to Badaling Great Wall on the morning.
After lunch, you will be transfered to Hot-spring. You may enjoy the hotsping for 3 hours before being transferred back to hotel in downtown Beijing.

What should we pack before the hot-spring tour in Beijing ?
Swimsuit and Swimming trunks are required. Swimming pool is available in most hot-spring resort. A swimming cap is also necessary if you want to swim. There is no other equipment is needed except above. All above equipment is available to be bought in Beijing, evening available in local Hot-spring Resort.

I read your website online. It seems Great Wall can be combined with Skiing or Hotspring. Is it possible to take skiing on the morning and drive to hotspring in the afternoon?

yes, it is possible to take skiing on the morning and enjoy hotspring in the afternoon. The time arrangement should be in this way: Be met from hotel at 08:00. Drive to and reach Skiing resort 1.5 hours later. Enjoy two hours skiing from 09:30 am to 11:30 am. Have lunch from 12:00 to 12:40. Drive to Hot-spring and enjoy the after hot-spring time from 14:00 to 16:00. Be transfered back to hotel at around 17:30.
The time arrangement can be adjusted a little.

Yes, it is possible to take a layover trip to Hot-spring from airport. Many hot-springs and several sections of Great Wall are located in the north part of Beijing. If you prefer to stay 2 or 3 hours in Hot-spring, then there is still time to visit one par of Great Wall. For sure you may choose to spend 6 to 7 hours in hot-spring resort. Lunch is available in the resort.
