Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival.  
• 
  Arrive in Beijing. You will meet your private guide at the exit of the airport and then be transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Firstly visit the largest city plaza in the world, Tiananmen Square. It is the place where many political and historical events took place.
  Go on visiting Forbidden City. It is the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1911). It is the essence of ancient Chinese palace architecture.
• After lunch, proceed to Temple of Heaven, the largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Featuring precise structure and magnificent decoration, the temple was built in 1420 used for offering sacrifices to heaven.
  Then visit the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China, Summer Palace. It perfectly combines the natural scenery and artificial landscape.
  Be transferred back to the hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive 1.5 hours to Ming Tombs, The best preserved tomb area with most emperors' mausoleums. 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried here. Visit the largest and the best-preserved one, Changling Tomb. Its main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
• After lunch, proceed to Badaling Great Wall. Built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty, Badaling is the best preserved and most popular section of the Great Wall. Many leaders from all over the world have visited it.
  Be transferred back to the hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 4. Beijing Zoo, Beijing Hutong, Lama Temple.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to Beijing Zoo to see giant pandas. The zoo is the earliest zoo with the largest variety of animal species in China.
• Go on visiting Beijing Hutong. You'll ride rickshaws to discover the traditional courtyard residences and experience the life style of the old Beijingers.
  Proceed to a large and well preserved Tibetan monastery, Lama Temple. It was once the royal court of Emperor Yongzheng when he was a prince and was converted into a lamasery to deal with Tibetan Buddhist affairs in 1744.
  Be transferred back to the hotel at around 17:30.
•   Breakfast, Lunch,
• Day 5. Jinshanling Great Wall, Outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.  
• 
  Drive about 2.5 hours to Jinshanling Great Wall. Jinshanling is the best place for the photographers to take pictures of the Great Wall. 67 watchtowers with different shapes and features are densely distributed alone the winding great wall.
• On the way back to Beijing city, have an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. As the main stadium of the 2008 Olympic Games, they have become the landmark buildings of modern Beijing city.
  Be transferred back to the hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 6. Xiushui Market, Hongqiao Market, Beijing Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
• This day we will visit two popular markets for foreign travelers, Xiushui Market and Hongqiao Market. They are also known as "Silk Market" and "Pearl Market". If you would like to other markets or shopping center, please inform us in advance.
• Have Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. Eating Roast Duck is seen to be one of the things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
  Enjoy Chinese Acrobatic Show after dinner. Acrobatics is one of the most popular art forms in China.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the show.
•   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Day 7. Departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby and transferred to the airport to catch your flight.
