  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.

  • Day 1. Arrive in Beijing.  

  • Reach Beijing, be met from airport and transferred to hotel in Beijing.

  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.   

  • Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
    Visit Tiananmen Square. Located in the center of Beijing City, Tiananmen Square is the largest public square in the world. The national flag raising ceremony was held on the square every day.
    Enter Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Being the world's largest palace complex, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It consists of 90 palaces and courtyards, total 980 buildings.
  • Proceed to Temple of Heaven after lunch. Temple of Heaven is the first of the five sacrificial temples in Beijing. It was built in 1420 used for offering sacrifices to heaven. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
    Go on visiting Summer Palace. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of China and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998. It combines lakes, gardens and ancient structures.
    Be transferred back to the hotel at about 15:30.

  • Day 3. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.   

  • Drive to Ming Tombs. It is best preserved tomb area with most emperors' mausoleums in China. 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried here. Visit Changling Tomb, the largest and the first built tomb. It is divided into three courtyards and the main buildings were arranged on the central axis.
  • After lunch, visit Badaling Great Wall. As one of the seven wonders in the world, great wall is a must-go attraction when you are in Beijing. Badaling is the most visited section. Climb Badaling Great Wall and discover this ancient defence project. Cable car is optional at your own expense.
    Be transferred back to the hotel at about 15:30.
