Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Entry Beijing.  
• 
  Be met by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from airport and transferred to hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Ancient Observatory.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Visit Tiananmen Square. As the largest city plaza in the world, Tiananmen Square has the important position for Chinese people. It has witnessed the founding of the new China.
  Proceed to Forbidden City. Also known as "Palace Museum” or "Gugong" in Chinese, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the largest and best-preserved palace complex and was listed as the World Cultural Relics in 1987.
  Have breakfast in local restaurant.
• Go on visiting Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) came to perform worship to the God of Heaven and pray for good harvests. Strictly built on the basis of philosophical requirements, the temple in many ways features the relationship between Heaven and Earth.
  Then head to Ancient Observatory. As one of the oldest observatories in the world, the observatory focused on nature science of Chinese astronomy. It was the national observatory during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
  Be transferred back to your hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.

  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to Ming Tombs. With a history of over 600 years, Ming Tombs is the best preserved mausoleum area in China. Visit Changling, the largest and the best preserved tomb among the 13 tombs. The main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
  Go to a restaurant to have lunch and a short rest.
• Proceed to visit Badaling Great Wall. Badaling Great Wall is the outstanding representative of the Great Wall. It is close Beijing city and featured with magnificent architectures and breathtaking nature scenery.
  Be transferred back to your hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 4. Beijing Zoo, Hutong, Summer Palace, Olympic Park, Roast Duck, Kongfu Show.

  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  First drive to Beijing Zoo. Beijing Zoo is the home of wild and rare animals. Besides the most popular giant pandas, there are many other animals, like golden monkeys, Manchurian tigers, white-lipped deer, yaks from Tibet and enormous sea turtles, White Bear from the North Pole, Kangaroo from Australia, Zebra from Africa.
  Proceed to Beijing Hutong. Beijing Hutongs are narrow lanes surrounded by traditional courtyard residences. They reflect the culture and daily life of the past in Beijing. Man-power rickshaw is arranged for you to experience old lifestyle of Beijing.
• After lunch, go to visit Summer Palace. Summer Palace is the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China. It perfectly combines the natural scenery and artificial landscape. The Long Corridor in the Summer Palace is the longest corridor in the world.
  Afterwards, visit Olympic Park built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. There are 14 competition venues here including the famous Bird Nest and Water Cube.
• Taste Beijing Roast Duck for Dinner. Beijing Roast Duck is a delicious food in Beijing. Eating Peking duck is regarded as one of the must-do things in Beijing.
  After dinner, we will enjoy Chinese Kongfu Show. The performance combines the Kongfu with dancing skill, which makes it more interesting.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the Kongfu Show.

• Day 5. Departure.

  Be picked up from hotel and transferred to airport for departure.
