Brief Itinerary

  • Day 1. Arrive in Bejing.  
  • Day 2. Ming Tombs(Changling Tomb), Mutianyu Great Wall.  
  • Day 3. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
  • Day 4. Panda House, Olympic Park, Lama Temple, Beijing Hutong, Jingshan Park, Beijing Opera.  
  • Day 5. Depart from Beijing.  

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1. Arrive in Bejing.  

  • Reach Beijing. You will be met at the exit of the airport or train station and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
    The rest of this day is free.

  • Day 2. Ming Tombs(Changling Tomb), Mutianyu Great Wall.  

  • Pick up from your hotel at appointed time(between 7:00am and 7:30am).
    Drive to Ming Tombs. 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty and their wives and concubines were buried here. We will visit Changling, the largest and the best preserved tomb among the 13 tombs. The visiting will take about 1 hour.
    Then have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving not only famous for its excellent skill, but also Chinese traditional cultures mixed in the carvings.
  • Proceed to Mutianyu Great Wall after Lunch. Mutianyu is one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall. It features dense watch towers and breathtaking sceneries. Cable car is available and optional.
    Returned to the downtown Beijing and enjoy the Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.
    Transfer back to your hotel at around 6:00pm.

  • Day 3. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  

  • Pick up from your hotel at appointed time(between 7:00am and 7:30am).
    Firstly, drive to the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. The national flag raising ceremony was held on the square every day. Then visit Forbidden City for about two hours. As the world's largest palace complex, Forbidden City is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics.
    Afterwards, take a short visit of a Chinese medicine shop and get some knowledge of Chinese medicine.
    Head to Temple of Heaven. As the world's largest worshiping building complex, Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 used for offering sacrifices to heaven.
    The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
  • Have a short visit to a pearl free market after lunch.
    Proceed to visit Summer Palace for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of China and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
    Transfer back to your hotel after the tour at around 6:00pm.

  • Day 4. Panda House, Olympic Park, Lama Temple, Beijing Hutong, Jingshan Park, Beijing Opera.  

  • Pick up from your hotel at appointed time(between 7:30am and 8:30am).
    Drive to Beijing Zoo, the earliest and one of the biggest zoos in China. We will visit the Panda House to see lovely giant pandas. Panda is the national treasure of China and loved by the people from all over the world.
    Then have an outside view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube in Olympic Park. If you want to explore the inner structures of the two stadiums, the extra cost is required. The guide will help you to buy the tickets.
    Afterwards, visit Lama Temple for about 1 hour. Also called "Yonghegong", Lama Temple is a well-preserved Tibetan monastery in Beijing. The buildings in the temple are topped with ornately decorated yellow roofs and combines Han and Tibetan styles.
  • Visit Beijing Hutong by rickshaw for about 2 hours after lunch. Beijing Hutongs are lanes or alleys formed by the traditional courtyard compounds (Siheyuan) on both sides. They are a museum of Beijing's folk custom and they are a witness to the city's history.
    Head to Jingshan Park. Once as an imperial garden, Jingshan Park is the best place to enjoy the full view of Forbidden City.
    Take a short visit to a Silk Shop. You can find the ancient and modern weave machine, sample of silkworm, satin, cashmere, Chinese traditional clothes and silk clothing. Transfer back to your hotel after the tour at around 4:00pm.
  • After a short rest and dinner in hotel, pick you up again to enjoy the Beijing Opera at about 6:00pm.
    Upon arrival at Liyuan Theatre, you will be led to your seat with help of both your tour guide and theatre staff who have your pre-booked entrance tickets. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts. The show time is from 7:30pm to 8:50pm.
    Transfer you back to the hotel after the show.
