Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Houhai Area.  
• 
  
• Be met from airport or train station by private vehicle and be transferred to hotel for checking in.
• Then transfer to Houhai Area. It is a part of Shichahai Lake. The bar street in this area is famous in Beijing.
  Enjoy your evening time in a local bar of Bar Street.
  Take taxi back to the hotel by your own.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, 798 Art Zone, Xiushui Market.  
• 
  Be met from hotel at 08:30am.
  Start your tour with Tiananmen Square. Surrounded by many well-known cultural and political buildings, the square is the largest public square in the world. The important rallies and parades in Beijing were held on this square.
  Move on to Forbidden City. Being the world's largest palace complex, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties for almost 600 years. It is the treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics.
• Proceed to 798 Art Zone. It is famous for international "SOHO-style art settlement" and "LOFT lifestyle". Many cultural and artistic institutions are located in the old workshops with typical Bauhaus style.
  Then driver to Xiushui Market to find your favor shoes or cloth. Xiushui Market is a shopping center housing 1,700 retail vendors. Except silk and fashion clothes, various kinds of items can be bought here.
  Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Dingling Tombs, Sacred Way, Mutianyu Great Wall, Teppanyaki for dinner, CCTV Tower.  
• 
  Be met from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive about 1.5 hours to Ming Tombs, the outstanding representative of the ancient Chinese mausoleum. 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried here. We will visit the only one of excavated so far, Dingling Tomb. More than 3000 pieces of precious treasure were unearthed from its Underground Palace.
  Go on to the Sacred Way, the main road to the 13 mausoleums of Ming Tombs. Along the way from south to north, you can find Marble Archway, Great Palace Gate, Tablet Tower, Stone Statues and Dragon-phoenix Gate.
• After lunch, head to Mutianyu Great Wall. With a history of over 1400 years, Mutianyu Great Wall features dense watch towers and breathtaking sceneries. It is one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall.
• Try the Teppanyaki (griddle cuisine) for Dinner, which is loved by young people.
  Then go up the CCTV Tower to have a bird View of Beijing. Standing at 405 meters, CCTV Tower is the tallest structure in Beijing. The tower has an observation deck (at 238 meters), from which we can have a bird's eye view of the entire city of Beijing.
  Be transferred back to your hotel at around 20:00.

• Day 4. Summer Palace, National Museum, trekking in Hutong area, try rickshaw.

  Be met from hotel at 08:30am.
  Firstly head to visit Summer Palace. First built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty as a summer resort, Summer Palace perfectly combines the natural scenery and artificial landscape. You may find more than 100 ancient structures in this China's largest imperial garden.
• Proceed to National Museum, one of the largest modern museums in the world. More than 1.4 million collections are housed in the museum, covering various items from ancient times to the contemporary China.
  Then trekking in Hutong area to discover old Beijing. With a history of over 700 years, these narrow lanes surrounded by traditional courtyard residences reflect the culture and daily life of the past in Beijing. You can try rickshaw riding.
  Be transferred back to hotel after the tour.
