  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Fayuan Temple, Lama Temple.  
  • Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, Hongluo Temple.  
  • Day 4. Biyun Temple, Wofo Temple, Summer Palace.  
  • Day 5. Badachu Park, Guangji Temple, Zhihua Temple.  
  • Day 6. Beijing Exit.  

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1. Beijing Entry.  

  • Arrive in Beijing. Meet your guide with your name sign at the exit of the airport or railway station.
    Transfer you to the hotel for check in.

  • Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Fayuan Temple, Lama Temple.  

  • Pick you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
    Drive to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. The square is the political center of China. This is the site where Chairman Mao proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
    Move on to the Forbidden City. With a history of over 600 years, this imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties is the largest and best-preserved palace complex in the world. Many cultural and historical relics are displayed in the palace.
  • After lunch, proceed to Fayuan Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China. The temple houses many valuable Buddhist books and relics. It is also the location of Buddhist Institute of China.
    Then visit Lama Temple. The temple was once a prince residence and converted an official Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in 1744. The precious Buddhist sculptures, stone carvings and Tibetan-style murals can be found in the temple.
    Transfer you back to the hotel at about 18:00.

  • Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, Hongluo Temple.  

  • Pick you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
    Proceed to Mutianyu Great Wall. With a history of over 1400 years, Mutianyu is one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall. It features charming natural scenery and densely distributed watchtowers.
  • Visit Hongluo Temple in the afternoon. The temple is known as the premiere Buddhism temple in north China. It has four main Buddhist halls. The three views in the temple are also worth to see.
    Transfer you back to the hotel at about 18:00.

  • Day 4. Biyun Temple, Wofo Temple, Summer Palace.  

  • Pick you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
    First head to Biyun Temple (Temple of the Azure Clouds). a well-preserved garden style temple. The stone carvings, Buddha Statues and Vajra Throne Tower are the highlights of the temple.
    Move on to Wofo Temple. With a history of over 1,300 years, the temple houses a sandalwood recumbent Buddha of Tang Dynasty and bronze recumbent Buddha of Yuan Dynasty.
  • After lunch, proceed to Summer Palace. As the summer resort for the emperors of Qing Dynasty(1644-1911), Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of China. It is a blend of hills, open water and ancient architectures.
    Transfer you back to the hotel at about 18:00.

  • Day 5. Badachu Park, Guangji Temple, Zhihua Temple.  

  • Pick you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
    Visit Badachu Park first. Surrounded by three hills, the park has been a holy place for Buddhists. There are eight ancient Buddhist temples in the park, so called Badachu(Eight Great Sites).
  • Then head to Guangji Temple. The temple houses a wall of 18 Buddhist deities, Ming dynasty religious relics and a library of over 100,000 volumes of scriptures in 20 different languages, some of which date back to the Song dynasty. It is now the site of China Buddhist Association.
    Proceed to Zhihua Temple. Built in 1443, it preserves the only wooden structures and groups of buildings from the Ming Dynasty in Beijing. It is also renowned for statues, Buddhist Scriptures, murals and Buddhist music.
    Transfer you back to the hotel at about 18:00.
