Three Days Private Beijing Layover Tour with Badaling Great Wall

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace.  
• 
  You will be met by private guide at the exit of airport after you reach Beijing.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square. This world's largest city square is the most important place in China. It has witnessed the founding of the new China and is surrounded by many well-known cultural and political buildings.
  Enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. It is the largest and best-preserved palace complex and was listed as the World Cultural Relics in 1987.
• After lunch, proceed to Summer Palace, the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China. It perfectly combines the natural scenery and artificial landscape.
  You will be transferred back to hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall, Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatics Show.  
• 
  You will be met by private guide at hotel lobby at 08:00 am.
  Drive one and half hours to visit Ming Tombs, is the final resting place of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. We will visit the largest and the first built tomb, Changling. The hall of Chang Ling is the largest structure of nanmu wood in China.
• Visit Badaling Great Wall in the afternoon. This section of the Great Wall is the best preserved and most visited one. It is 7600 meters long and 1000 meters above sea level, commanding a strategic position in ancient times. Hike the wall as long as you can. Cable car is available and optional.
• Then go to taste Beijing Roast Duck as dinner. Roast Duck is the must-eating dish when you travel in Beijing.
  Enjoy Chinese Acrobatics Show at night. With a history of more than two thousand years, Acrobatics is one of the most popular art forms in China.
  You will be transferred back to hotel after the show.

• Day 3. Beijing Hutong, Temple of Heaven, Departure.  
• 
  You will be met by private guide at hotel lobby at 08:00 am.
  Drive to visit Beijing Hutong. Beijing Hutong are passageways formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard).It is the embodiment of Beijing's ancient culture. Man-power rickshaw is arranged for you to feel the Hutong of Beijing.
  Then visit Temple of Heaven, the first of the five sacrificial temples in Beijing. It was built in 1420 for emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties to offer sacrifices to heaven.
• Afterwards, you will be transferred to airport to take the flight of your next destination.
