Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Pick up from airport or train station.  
• 
  Arrive in Beijing.
  Be met from airport or train station by private guide and transferred to hotel for checking in.
• Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Beihai Park, Beijing Hutong, Houhai Area.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by at 07:30am.
  Driver to visit Tiananmen Square. This world's largest city plaza has the important position for Chinese people. It has witnessed the founding of the new China.
  Enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1911). It is the largest palatial structure in the world. Many cultural and historical relics are displayed in the palace.
  Transfer back to your hotel at about 10:00am to avoid the summer hot.
• Be picked up from your hotel at 4:00 in the afternoon.
  Head to Beihai Park. With a history of about 1,000 years, Beihai Park was the royal garden of the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty. The park combines lakes and hills, ancient buildings, towers, trees and flowers. You may enjoy the Lotus flowers from late June to middle August.
  Then visit Beijing Hutong in Shichahai area. These narrow lanes show the culture and life style of old Beijing. Ride a man-made rickshaw to discover the traditional residences(Siheyuan).
• Proceed to to Houhai Area. Travelers may find a bar to spend your evening time, and transfer back to your hotel at about 9:00pm.

• Day 3. Summer Palace, Mutianyu Great Wall.   
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by at 07:30am.
  Driver to visit Summer Palace. Featured with the natural landscape and ancient structures, Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of China. It was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
  Transfer back to your hotel at about 09:30am to avoid the summer hot.
• Be picked up from your hotel at 3:20 in the afternoon.
  Head to visit Mutianyu Great Wall, the longest fully-restored Great Wall with 23 original watchtowers. The wall is covered with flourish grasses and dense forests. Cable car is available for choice at your own cost.
• Afterwards, proceed to restaurant for dinner.
  Transfer back to your hotel at about 9:00pm.

• Day 4. Temple of Heaven, Xiushui Market, Wangfujing Street.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by at 07:30am.
  Drive to visit Temple of Heaven. It was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty and served as the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The main buildings are Circular Mound Altar, Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.
  Transfer back to your hotel at about 09:30am to avoid the summer hot.
• Be picked up from your hotel at 3:20 in the afternoon.
  Head to Xiushui Market. Also called Silk Market or Silk Street Market, it is a shopping center housing 1,700 retail vendors. Besides silk and fashion clothes, various kinds of items can also be bought here.
  Move on to Wangfujing Street, the busiest commercial area in Beijing. It is a pedestrian street with shopping malls, bookstores, souvenir shops, and the snack stores. The street is more active in the night.
• Transfer back to your hotel at about 8:00pm.
