Three Days Private Tour of Beijing City and Jinshanling Great Wall

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Your guide will meet you at hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Firstly go to Tiananmen Square located in the center of Beijing City. As the largest city plaza in the world, Tiananmen Square has the important position for Chinese people.
  Then enter the Forbidden City from the north end of the Tiananmen Square. Being the world's largest palace complex, Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the essence of ancient Chinese palace architecture.
  Have lunch in a local restaurant and take a break.
• Go on visiting Temple of Heaven, which is the largest sacrificial building complex in the world featuring precise structure and magnificent decoration. The main buildings are Circular Mound Altar, Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.
  Proceed to the largest royal garden of China, Summer Palace. Featured with the natural landscape and ancient structures, Summer Palace was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
  Your driver will transfer you back to the hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 2. Jinshanling Great Wall, Olympic Park.  
• 
  Your guide will meet you at hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit Jinshanling Great Wall. Jinshanling is one of the best preserved sections of the Great Wall with original appearance. It is the perfect place to take pictures and hike.
• On the way back to Beijing city, go to the Olympic Park. Have an outside view of the landmark buildings in the park, Bird Nest and Water Cube.
  Your driver will transfer you back to the hotel at around 17:30.

• Day 3. Beijing Zoo, Beijing Hutong, Jingshan Park, Lama Temple.  
• 
  Your guide will meet you at hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Firstly visit Beijing Zoo. Besides the famous giant pandas, there are many other rare animals, like golden monkeys, Manchurian tigers, white-lipped deer, yaks from Tibet, and so on.
  Proceed to Beijing Hutong to discover the traditional courtyard compounds (Siheyuan). You can sit in a rickshaw to experience the local life style and culture of old Beijing.
• Then drive to Jingshan Park, the previous royal park. The summit of Jingshan hill is the best location to get a full view of Forbidden City.
  Then visit Lama Temple. Being a large and well preserved Tibetan monastery, houses a treasury of Buddhist art, including sculptured images of gods, demons and Buddhas, as well as Tibetan-style murals.
  Your driver will transfer you back to the hotel at around 17:30.
