Early November is the period of Shanghai Expo. All hotels are very busy during the exhibition. Please book your accommodation as early as possible. The hotel is much expensive than normal time. Sometimes it is a good idea to stay in a hotel out of that area.

Some travelers come to visit Shanghai including Disneyland. The theme park is located around 30 km southeast of downtown Shanghai.
You are suggested to spend 1 or two nights in the hotel near Disneyland; and the remainder of the time stay in downtown Shanghai.
