Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrive in Beijing.   
• 
  When you reach Beijing airport or train station, please find your private guide at the exit.
  Transfer you to the hotel for check in.
• Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Free afternoon.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square. As the place where many political and historical events took place, Tiananmen Square is the largest downtown square in the world. It has witnessed the founding of the new China.
  Enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City is a treasure house of Chinese cultural and historical relics. This imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties is the largest and best-preserved palace complex and was listed as the World Cultural Relics.
• Transfer back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Summer Palace, Free afternoon.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit Summer Palace, the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China. First built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty as a summer resort, Summer Palace perfectly combines the natural landscape of hills and open water with humankind works such as pavilions, halls, palaces and bridges.
• Then transfer back to the hotel.

• Day 4. Badaling Great Wall, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit Badaling Great Wall. Built in 1505 during the Ming Dynasty, Badaling is the best preserved and most representative Great Wall section in Beijing. It enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. Many leaders from all over the world have visited it. You can take the cable car up to the wall on your own cost.
• After lunch, head to take an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube in the OLympic Park. The Bird Nest was used to hold the Olympic Games, the opening and closing ceremony of the Paralympics Games, track and field events and the Soccer finals. Water Cube was the major swimming pool for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. You will be amazed by the unique constructions of these two buildings.
  Transfer back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 5. Temple of Heaven, Beijing Hutong, Free afternoon.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to visit Temple of Heaven. As one of the World Cultural Relics, Temple of Heaven is the largest sacrificial building complex in the world. It was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) came to perform worship to the God of Heaven and pray for good harvests.
  Move on to the Beijing Hutong in Shichahai area. Beijing Hutongs are the narrow lanes formed by raditional courtyard compounds where the old Beijingers lived. It is the embodiment of Beijing's ancient culture. Take a man-power rickshaw to feel the life style of old Beijing.
• Then transfer back to the hotel.

• Day 6. Leave Beijing.

  Pick you up from hotel and transfer to airport or train station to see off.
