Beijing Five Days Leisure Family Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrive in Beijing.   
• 
  Be met from airport or train station by private vehicle and transferred to hotel for checking in.
  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square. It is the largest downtown square in the world. The square is the place where many political and historical events took place.
  Move on to Forbidden City, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1912). It is the largest and best-preserved collection of ancient wooden structure buildings in the world.
• Proceed to the world's best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex, Temple of Heaven. It was built in 1420 used for offering sacrifices to heaven.
  Then visit Beihai Park. It is the oldest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. The park is now one of the best of China's classical gardens with artificial hills, pavilions, halls, temples and covered corridors.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Mutianyu Great Wall with double way Cable Car, Foot Massage.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive 1.5 hours to Ming Tomb, which is the final resting place of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors and an outstanding representative of the ancient Chinese mausoleum. We will visit the the largest and the first built Changling. Its main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
• Proceed to Mutianyu Great Wall. As one of the seven wonders in the world, great wall is a must-go attraction when you are in Beijing. Mutianyu is the longest fully restored section with 23 original watchtowers and breathtaking sceneries. Double way cable car is included.
  Afterwards, you will experience the Food Massage. As a part of Chinese traditional medicine and culture, Food Massage improves the immune system and keeps the body's natural balance.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Summer Palace, Beijing Hutong including local family visit, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube, Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.

  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Summer Palace. Perfectly combines the natural scenery and artificial landscape, Summer Palace is the best-preserved and largest royal garden existing in China and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998.
• Move on to old Beijing Hutong. These narrow lanes surrounded by traditional courtyard residences reflect the culture and daily life of the past in Beijing. You will take a man-power rickshaw to visit a local family and discover a local market of daily use.
  Then go to take an outside view of two famous buildings for the 2008 Olympic Games, Bird Nest and Water Cube. They are separately located on both sides of the northern end of Beijing city central axis and together form a complete Beijing's image of a historical and cultural city.
• Have Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. Roast Duck origins from imperial court menus of Ming Dynasty.
  Enjoy the Acrobatic Show in the evening. Existing in China for more than two thousand years, Acrobatic Show is packed with outstanding feats, beautiful choreography, color and excitement.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the show.
•   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Day 5. Beijing Zoo, Departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
  Drive to visit Beijing Zoo. Built in 1955 on the foundation of Wansheng Garden of the Qing Dynasty, Beijing Zoo is now the biggest zoo in China with the largest number of animal species. The highlight of the zoo is the national treasure-giant panda.
• Afterwards, be transferred to airport or train station for departure.
