Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival.  
• 
  Be met from Beijing airport or train station by private guide and transferred to hotel for checking in.
  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Head to Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing City. The square is the largest city plaza in the world. The Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao Zedong and the Monument of the People's Heroes are located on the square.
  Enter Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties(1368-1912). Consisting of 90 palaces and courtyards, 980 buildings and 8,704 rooms, the palace is the world's largest and best-preserved palace.
  Have lunch in a local restaurant and take a rest.
• Proceed to Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Temple of Heaven was built in 1420 for emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties to communicate with the gods and pray for good harvest. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world.
  Move on to Summer Palace. Known as the "Museum of Royal Gardens", Summer Palace is a blend of hills, open water and ancient architectures. The Long Corridor in the Summer Palace is the longest corridor in the world.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.

• Day 3. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Drive to Ming Tombs, the world's largest tomb area with mausoleums of 13 emperors in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). We will visit the Changling, the largest and the first built tomb among them. The main buildings include Ling'en Gate, Ling'en Hall, Lingxing Gate and Treasure City.
• After lunch, proceed to Badaling Great Wall. As one of the seven wonders in the world, China Great Wall is a must visit in Beijing. Badaling is the most visited section. It is close Beijing city and featured with magnificent architectures and breathtaking nature scenery.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.

• Day 4. Full day Skiing.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Transfer you to Nanshan Ski Resort. Since its opening in 2001, Nanshan Ski Resort has become the largest of its kind in China providing the most advanced ski equipments and amenities for all ski enthusiasts- both tourists and locals alike.
• You can enjoy skiing all day in the resort. Lunch is on your own expense.
  You will be picked up from resort at about 16:00 and transferred back to the hotel.

• Day 5. Beijing Zoo, Beijing Hutong, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube, Xiushui Market if time permits.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel lobby at 08:30 in the morning.
  Proceed to Beijing Zoo to visit Panda House. The giant panda is China's national treasure. This lovely animal symbolizes peace and friendship. Move on to Beijing Hutong. These narrow alleys surrounded by traditional courtyard residences are the museum of folk custom and culture of old Beijing. Take a rickshaw through the Hutongs to feel the life style of common people.
• Drive to the Olympic Park to take an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. These two stadiums built for the Beijing Olympics of 2008 are the engineering marvels in the world. You will be amazed by their unique structures.
  Visit Xiushui Market if time permits. Also known as Silk Market, Xiushui Market is a popular shopping place among foreign travelers. Besides the silk products, you also can find many other items in the market.
  Be transferred back to the hotel after the tour at about 18:00.

• Day 6. Departure.

  Be picked up from hotel at appointed time and delivered to the airport or train station to see off.
