Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival.  
• 
  Reach Beijing airport or railway station. Be picked up and transferred to hotel for checking in by private vehicle.
  Remainder of the day is at leisure.

• Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace.  
• 
  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Tiananmen Square. Located in the front of the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square is the largest downtown square in the world. The square has witnessed the founding of the new China.
  Move on to Forbidden City, also known as "Palace Museum" or "Gugong" in Chinese. Consisting of 90 palaces and courtyards, Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved palace complex in the world.
• Proceed to Temple of Heaven, the temple where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) came to perform worship to the God of Heaven and pray for good harvests. It is the world's largest sacrificial building complex featuring precise structure and magnificent decoration.
  Then visit the largest imperial garden of China, Summer Palace. It perfectly combines natural scenery and artificial landscape and was included the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Mutianyu Great Wall, outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.

  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive about 2 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. As one of the most famous and best preserved sections of China Great Wall, Mutianyu has a history of 1400 years and features dense watch towers and breathtaking sceneries. 23 original watchtowers and other ancient constructions are closely packed on the wall.
• Proceed to Olympic Park to have an outside view of Bird Nest and Water Cube. You will be amazed at the unique structures of these two main stadiums for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

• Day 4. Beijing Zoo (Panda), Capital Museum, Beijing Hutong.

  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to Beijing Zoo with many wild and rare animals. Visit the Panda House. The giant panda is China's national treasure. This lovely animal symbolizes peace and friendship.
  Move on to visit Capital Museum. This comprehensive museum houses 5,622 exhibitions of different kinds concerning history, cultural relics, revolutionary history and folk custom, etc.
• Proceed to Beijing Hutong in the afternoon. With a history of over 700 years, Beijing Hutongs are lanes or alleys formed by the traditional courtyard compounds (Siheyuan) on both sides. You will take the rickshaw to experience the old Beijing's local life and learn Beijing Opera Facial Masks and Chinese handwriting.

• Day 5. Xiushui Market, Hongqiao Market, Beijing Roast Duck Dinner, Acrobatic Show.

  Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30am.
  You will go to discover two popular local markets for foreigners working in Beijing or travelers visiting this city. Xiushui Market, also called Silk Market, offers 1600 stalls to travelers. The main products covers clothing, carpets, bedding, suitcases, hats, leather shoes, electronics, watches, glasses, jewelry, crafts and toys.
• Hongqiao Market is known as Pearl Market. You may find many kinds of pearls and other products here, such as clothes, silk, bags, shoes, binoculars, cameras, coral, digital products, seafood, etc.
• Have Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. This dish Origins from imperial court menus of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Eating Roast Duck is seen to be one of the things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing.
  Watch Acrobatic Show at night. The show has been existent in China for more than two thousand years. Travelers may enjoy a visual feast of Chinese culture in this acrobatic performance.
  Be transferred back to your hotel after the show.
