Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill.  
• 
  Reach Guilin. Bet met by private guide at the exit of airport or train station.
  Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave. It is a natural limestone cave with over 180 million years old. The cave houses various stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtain and rock formations. There are also a more than 70 inscriptions in this water-eroded cave.
  Proceed to Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin city. It looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the river. Besides the karst landforms, you can find ancient stone inscriptions, old temple and pagodas on the hill. Sanhua Wine Culture Museum is also in this scenic area.

• Day 2. Diecai Hill, Seven Star Park, Jingjiang Palace, Duxiu Peak, Departure.  
• 
  Be picked up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Diecai Hill located on the bank of Li River. The hill is famous for natural landscape, unique pavilions, Buddhist sculptures and stone carvings. You may have a bird's-eye view of whole Guilin city from the summit of the hill.
  Proceed to Seven Star Park, the largest park in Guilin. The park features elegant hills, crystal water, fantastic caves and cultural relics.
• After lunch, head to visit Jingjiang Palace and Duxiu Peak.
  With a history of more than 600 years, Jingjiang Palace is the residence of princes in the Ming Dynasty. It was used to be the Guangxi Examination House in Qing Dynasty. Travelers have chance to try the 'Imperial Examination of ancient China'.
  Duxiu Peak in the Jingjiang Palace is one of the three main peaks of Guilin. It is an ideal place to take a whole view of Guilin city. There are numerous cliff-side and stone inscriptions carved on the peak.
  
  Be transferred to airport or train station to connect your evening flight.
