Guilin Three Days Private Buddhist Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrive in Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, Yunfeng Temple, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Dongxi Lane.   
• 
  When you arrive in Guilin, your private guide will meet you at the exit of airport or train station.
  Drive to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin city. The hill is famous for the breathtaking natural views and valuable cultural landscape.
  Visit the Yunfeng Temple in the hill. It was first built in 1214 during the Song Dynasty and now has a structure of steel and concrete. The second floor serves as an exhibition hall.
• Then take a walking along Two Rivers and Four Lakes. This waterway around the central Guilin is the name card of Guilin City.
  Visit the Sun and Moon Pagodas in this area. The Sun Pagoda is the highest bronze pagoda in the world. It connects with the seven-story glazed Moon Pagoda by a 18-meter-long underwater aquarium.
  
  Go on to visit Dongxi Lane, a historical area with features of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is an epitome of old Guilin city. You may find many local snacks and items with ethnic characteristics.
  Transfer you to hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, Big Banyan Tree, Jianshan Temple.

  Pick you up from hotel at about 07:30am and transfer to Zhujiang Pier.
  Take the relaxing cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo. Li River is known as the biggest and the most beautiful Karst landscape. The section from Guilin to Yangshuo is the most picturesque, featured with clear waters, green hills, fantastic caves and wonderful cliffs. The cruise will last about 4.5 hours. Chinese and western buffet lunch will be served.
• Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon.
  Drive to visit Big Banyan Tree with an age of more than 1,500 years. It has beautifully twisted roots and gnarled branches.
  Proceed to visit one of the earliest ancient temples in Guilin, Jianshan Temple. First built in 713 during the Tang Dynasty, The architectures in the temple are simple and elegant, grand and magnificent.
  Transfer you back to hotel in Guilin after the tour.

• Day 3. Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Seven Star Park, Qixia Temple, Depart from Guilin.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at about 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave. It is a natural limestone cave with over 180 million years old. Many stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations with various shapes can be found.
  Move on to visit Fubo Hill, With peaks, water, caves, pavilions, gardens, stone carvings and Buddha statues, the hill boast fantastic views. The viewing platform on the summit is an ideal place to appreciate the panoramic views of the Guilin city and Li River.
• Then visit Seven Star Park, the biggest comprehensive park in Guilin. Discover Qixia Temple in the Park. With a style of Tang Dynasty, the temple houses a white-jade statue of Avalokitesvara, 6.8 meters high and 18 tons heavy.
  Afterwards, transfer you to the airport or train station.
