4 Days Private Guilin Village Tour

Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill.  
• 
  Upon you arrive in Guilin, your private guide will meet you at the exit of the airport or train station.
  Head to visit Reed Flute Cave. It is a natural limestone cave with over 180 million years old. You can find a lot of stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in many variations illuminated by colored lighting.
  Then visit Elephant Trunk Hill, a famous tourist attraction from more than 1,000 years ago. Combining beautiful nature views and valuable cultural landscape, the hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin city.
• Transfer you to the hotel for check in.

• Day 2.Longsheng Rice Terraces and Zhuang Ethnic Village.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am in the morning.
  Drive to Longsheng to visit Longji Rice Terraces. With a history of over 800 years, The large tracts of rice terraces wind alone the slope from the riverside up to the mountaintop, like backbone of a giant dragon. So called Longji(Dragon Backbone) Rice Terraces.
• Visit Zhuang Ethnic Village around the Rice Terraces. The village has still retains the features of costumes and life style of the ethnic Zhuang. The architectures in the village are quite unique and with a distinctive style.
  Transfer you back to hotel in Guilin after the tour.

• Day 3. Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, Rafting on the Yulong River, Jiuxian Village.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 07:30am - 08:10am in the morning.
  Transfer to Zhujiang Pier to take Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. You will step into a traditional Chinese painting with clear water with reflection of oddly-shaped peaks, graceful bamboo groves, rice paddies, water buffalo and peaceful village. The cruise will last about 4.5 hours. Chinese and western buffet lunch is offered on the ship.
• Disembark at Yangshuo in the afternoon.
  Drive to visit Yulong River, the longest branch of Li River in Yangshuo. It is known as "Little Li River" because of beautiful Karst scenery. Take a bamboo rafting alone the river to enjoy the countryside landscape.
  Proceed to Jiuxian Village with a history of 1400 years. You may find various ancient architectures in the village, such as the city wall in the Tang Dynasty, residences in the Ming Dynasty and the manor in the Qing Dynasty.
  Overnight in Yangshuo.

• Day 4. Daxu Ancient Town, Bear Ancient Village, Departure.

  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am in the morning.
  Head to visit Daxu Ancient Town. The town has a history of over 1800 years and was one of the four ancient market towns in Guangxi Province. Besides the well preserved traditional Chinese architectures, many old handicrafts are still remained in the town, like bamboo-weaving, grass shoes and traditional funeral articles.
  Proceed to visit Bear Ancient Village. The village was built on a small mound and has a history of over 2000 years. The wooden houses with stacked beams stand on the both sides of the lanes paved with stone or pebble.
• Then transfer you to the airport or train station for departure.
