Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1. Arrival, Elephant Trunk Hill, Yunfeng Temple, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Dongxi Lane.   
• 
  Upon arrival at Guilin airport or train station, your private guide will meet you at the exit.
  
  Drive to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, a famous tourist attraction from more than 1,000 years ago. The hill is the landmark of Guilin City.
  Discover the Yunfeng Temple on the Elephant Trunk Hill. The temple was first built in the Song Dynasty(960-1279). The present temple is the antique building with double roof and horse-head wall.
• Proceed to take a walk along the Two Rivers and Four Lakes(waterway around the center Guilin city) and enjoy the natural and cultural landscapes.
  Visit the Sun and Moon Pagodas, which are built in 2001 on the basis of the Tang Dynasty stupas. The nine-story Sun Pagoda is the tallest copper pagoda and the tallest pagoda with underwater elevator.
  
  Move on to visit a traditional culture area with the buildings of the style of Ming and Qing dynasties, Dongxi Lane. It is an epitome of old Guilin city.
  Transfer you to the hotel after the tour.

• Day 2. Xiangshan Temple, Ling Canal.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to Quanzhou to visit Xiangshan Temple. With a history of 1250 years, the temple is the oldest Buddhist temple in Guangxi Province. Miaoming Pagoda in the temple is the the pavilion style hollow Pagoda with ancient inscriptions.
• Visit Ling Canal with more than 2200 years history. The canal is one of the oldest artificial waterways in the world. The beautiful scenery and cultural relics worth to visit.
  Transfer you back to hotel after the tour.

• Day 3. Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, Big Banyan Tree, Jianshan Temple.   
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at about 07:30am - 08:10am and transfer to cruise port.
  Take Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, which has become one of China's top tourist activities. You will appreciate a hundred-mile view of gallery: the green mountain reflecting on the clear water, buffalo grazing on the bank, farmers working in rice fields and fishermen standing on bamboo rafts. The Cruise will last about 4.5 hours.
• Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon. Proceed to admire an Ancient Big Banyan Tree with over 1,500 years old. With twisted roots and gnarled branches, the tree is 17 meters high and covers an area of 1000 square meters.
  Move on to visit Jianshan Temple. Built in the 713 during the Tang Dynasty, the temple is one of the earliest ancient temples in Guilin. The architectures with Tang Dynasty style are grand and magnificent.
  Overnight in Yangshuo.

• Day 4. Jiuxian Village, rafting on Yulong River.   
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Jiuxian Village with a history of 1400 years. The ancient architectures of different dynasties can be found in the village, such as the city wall in the Tang Dynasty, residences in the Ming Dynasty and the manor in the Qing Dynasty.
  Then take a rafting on Yulong River. Yulong River is known as "Little Li River" because of beautiful karst scenery. Sitting on a bamboo raft steered by experienced boatman, you can appreciate the limestone peaks, green fields, ancient villages and stone bridges.
• Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel in Guilin.

• Day 5. Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Seven Star Park, Qixia Temple, departure.  
• 
  Pick you up from hotel at 08:30am.
  Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave. With various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition, the cave is an incredible natural wonder.
  Move on to visit Fubo Hill. The hill combines peaks, water, caves, pavilions, gardens, stone carvings and Buddha statues. From the summit you may have a panorama of Li River and Guilin City.
• Proceed to the largest comprehensive park in Guilin, Seven Star Park. Attractions in the park include Flower Bridge, Putuo Mountain, Seven Stars Cave, Camel Hill, Qixia Temple, and Guihai Stele Forest, etc.
  The Qixia Temple is the largest and most well preserved Buddhist temple with Tang Dynasty style. There is a precious statue of Avalokitesvara made of white jade in the temple.
  
  Transfer you to the airport or train station for departure.
