Detailed Itinerary
- Day 1. Arrival. Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill.
Arrive in Guilin. You will meet your guide at the exit of airport or railway station.
Drive to visit Reed Flute Cave. Named for the lush reeds that grow outside of the cave, Reed Flute Cave is a spectacular karst cave housing stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations with various shapes. The colored lights make the rocks more spectacular.- Proceed to Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill is a kast hill composed of limestones deposited 360 million years ago. It looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the river. Besides the nature views, there are some ancient constructions on the hill, including Puxian Pagoda, Yunfeng Temple and Sarira Dagoba.
Then you will be transferred to hotel for check in. - Lunch, ,
- Day 2. Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, explore Yangshuo.
You will meet your guide at hotel lobby at 07:30 - 08:10 in the morning.
Drive to cruise port for Li Li River Cruise, which has become one of China's top tourist activities. Alone the river, you will enjoy the clear water with reflection of oddly-shaped peaks, graceful bamboo groves, rice paddies, water buffalo and peaceful village. The cruise will takes about 4.5 to 5 hours.- Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon. The natural landscape in Yangshuo is the highlight of Li River. You can walk on the West Street to feel the relaxing atmosphere in this old town.
Then you will be transferred back to the hotel in Guilin. - Lunch, ,
